I just wanna know how can a guy that lives in the USA for 2 years speaks english so poorly and almost doesn't have any vocabulary?
Maybe because he stayed in his house playing games :D at least his good in those games hehe This is ignorant. I'd like to see you learn Korean in 2 years, bearing in mind the length Idra, Artosis, and Tasteless have been in Korea. His English is understandable, if nothing else. In fact, this whole post was flat out stupid. You don't care about his dota career, but it's interesting? And most importantly, your English is hardly good enough to make comments on someone else's. That said, I agree with the person that said DotA is not a spectator sport. I played it a lot during its initial stages (5.6 lulz), so I'd be pretty interested in seeing how the game has evolved since, but I doubt that's true for most people.
I don't care about dota since i never played it and that's what i ment. But i did knew he won 2 gold medals in DOW and was a wc3 player in SK, a team i followed in a scene i cared about so it was interesting to know he played 3 games at a high level!
Second i bet Artosis and all the white dudes in Korea could learn it if they didn't play games so much, but they are not in korea to learn Korean but to play/cast whatever.. but select on the other hand went to the states to study!
But then again some guys allready pointed that they talked to him personaly and think he talks way better then in the interview!
And btw korean is way harder to learn to any foreigner then a foreigner learning english.. that is obvious!
My english is enough to talk to anyone and my writing is understandable.

hmm I still remember SeleCT playing for TrademarkGamer in late 2005, making a comeback to WC3

I enjoy reminiscing the glory days. Actually, you’ve missed quite a bit here. The original AzN consisted of Enigma Ezzy March select and ZhaoYun. This team was on par with EG and Pokerstars (Johnnyutah’s team) at the time. After disbanding this team and taking a year off of dota, select decided to try it again. This time the team was Ezzy Select March Bulba and Biscaya. They had no support player and Biscaya / Bulba constantly had clashing personalities (though this didn’t stop them from being on teams together for many years consecutively) and at the time I was playing heavily in the European scene. I played a few scrims with them and select later contacted me to join the new AzN 3.0.
This team consisted of Select, ken, Bulba, Ezzy and myself. I believe this was the most stable of the AzN rosters as we held the tag for almost 6 months (which was sadly impressive for nadota in its early days). This team did very well and it was truly an honour to have played with these guys. A great group and this is most definitely where my skill peaked, the team had a really positive feel, with such great leaders and friends to constantly help out.
After losing multiple bouts to na powerhouse eMg/blight (Brax, Korok, ownagejuice, Mikey, and desrow) the team shuffled again, with Lust(Tom) taking over on the support position.
I made my way back to the European scene, joining a solid European stack formed by Comewithme (known as diXi). We placed 2nd in ESL season V (I think) beating DTS and eventually losing to aAa (the French squad of MDJ And Phoenix). DiXi was also in talks at the time to get a spot in the first international, but business is business as the spots went to two underperforming danish teams (due to them hosting).

This thread brings back good memmories of old times of date all good onces from dow to sc2.
Its cool to see these old timers still around and i hope they stay around becacuse i was a fan of select back in those days was cool to see him compete in the competives scene. I have not seen them much of date because of there transition to moba and my lack of interest in this genre. I know much about select dow and sc2 career because i was a big fan and was excited watching his style of play heavy micro in dow1 to sc2 with funny quates.
There are reasons for his bad english which i wont bring up some people take time to learn a second language is difficult depending on how much one can focus on it to become fluent and his focus mainly on gameing and competion in rts and moba.
I watched him till his end of days in sc2 and if he were to return i would interested to see his carreer in rts continue.
