I don't think they did this only because of reapers. I think they are well aware of the fact that roaches couldn't hit cannons over a pylon wall. I'm sure you already know... but a lot of top Zerg players have been talking about how difficult (some say next to impossible although that is quite an overstatement) it is to come back when a protoss player walls you in with 2 pylons and a cannon behind it.

Also, people are really underestimating Reapers use late game.
You get a group of 5 or more, then when you go in for the attack, you send them around the map picking off undefended expos.

Seem alright to me.. Only thing that actually is a bad idea is the factory rec for reaper speed? I mean, with 4 range roaches, gl kiting o.O Will be exciting to see how big a role Thor's will play in TvP.. I think they are pretty damn strong, maybe along with marines or even more fun ghosts..

the change to the thor makes them viable in a TvP match. Before Thors just get feedback to death. Seems like a buff to the thors to me.

Some very notable terrans are gonna switch to zerg really soon, and the pro's who switch from bw/wc3 aint gonna be all terran like the majorety have been. Also LosirA was Zerg in GSL 1 right? Gotta suck for him to have changed to terran now

Lol..the only thing Terran received was a tiny Thor buff, which will help in surviving carpet storming HTs, but medivac hit I think hurts quite a bit.

Hopefully the void ray change will make them less of a SURPRISE DEATH unit and more of a unit that can actually be incorporated into an army.

Nah, I would actually agree. If you have corruptors around you could often corrupt two things before running out of energy. Plus the uses were completely different. 250MM you actually should be specifically targeting things as opposed to corruption where you just spam it all over the place. I agree: Thor buff, Corruptor nerf.
Actually I think its a pretty major thor buff. Maybe 250mm will actually be used. But Corruptor nerf not a big deal.

All I want now is concussive shell price increase and research duration to be higher. or a cooldown on concussive so it's not every shot (early game concusssive is a bastard against over 90% of Protoss ground forces)

Thats what i hated about them. Was just a either you win or lose in the next 2 min unit. I did not like that at all. Its cool with the power up and all, and i think it would be better if they made it charge up faster, and maby give abit more range or somthing, but make it not charge up on your own units/buildings.

I dislike the depot before rax change. Everything else is tits (although I don't know why voids were nerfed so hard - totally unnecessary.)
The one thing I'm missing is SCV repair priority during engagements. Simply can't believe this wasn't addressed.
Can't wait to play tonight!

So void rays are basically maraudars without concussive shells or stim in the sky now?
I would like it if the charge would be on a cooldown and last 15 seconds instead...then they become useful. Sacrifice ur shields to charge up the rays...that would be nice.
