Um it's not just Geoff. He really is like that. He has been saying terran has been UP/weak since like early release lol. He was the one who wrote a blog stating terran will NEVER beat zerg in macro games and he seriously believed it.

I am saying just feign pressure. Move out, not very far, force the units and just move back. You said "herp derp they die" QXC said "as soon as I move out you make more than enough units to stop the pressure before I am there" so I said can you use that knowledge to force the same thing but NOT sacrifice the marines. So no, you didn't respond to my point. You just said "NOPE WONT WORK" Moving on. I know they're not dying, jesus. I just said that BECAUSE 5 marines isn't much pressure vs. 4-6 queen builds, zergs won't make many lings/crawlers. Beyond the first reply, I never said anything about the marines dying. Stop being so fucking thick and arrogant.

Lings are build pretty quickly most of the time its enough to start building them once the Terran is near the tower / edge of the creep . And if you move out this far there's no way to not lose your army anymore unless the Zerg choses to.
Right now my personal opinion is the Mappool is imbalaced for the Queen change. Its too hard for Terran to expand to enough bases finance a even game against Zerg on alot of the Map. The whole army Zerg is pretty fast and mobile so he can allways send out some stuff to kill / harass an expansion and still send his stuff to defend a drop.

Yeah a lot of it is just venting, or he will go over the top for effect. When he actually discusses stuff on stream you can see he can approach the discussion in a more civilized manner when he wants.

Yeah, I'd like to hear what Avilo has to say. Let the community judge whether he's an idiot.

I've heard the man talk and nothing logical comes out of his mouth. His voice cuts through my soul and he should never be on a live show.

I tweeted at Avilo telling him to contact them.. hopefully he does

Very nice SotG discussion. IdrA was definitely right on the metagame of zerg allinning terran greed. I wonder if there is a solid inbetween on the greed that is able to hold those all-ins while still keeping the terran equal. I think a problem with the game sometimes is that people are often too eager to get an advantage through extreme greed, instead of playing on equal terms then winning through being the superior player as the game goes on. This often leads to the very coinflippy nature of some matchups.

I don't see something in between. You don't play greedy the uphill battle you fight in macro is too big and you can't really deal damage anymore without basically all-inning and crossing fingers if he plays greedy.. ( and playing greedy reactively usually doesn't work because its too late )
