You don't play greedy the uphill battle you fight in macro is too big and you can't really deal damage anymore without basically all-inning and crossing fingers if he plays greedy.. ( and playing greedy reactively usually doesn't work because its too late ) IdrA's argument disagrees, he seems to think that it is possible to macro on an equal level if there are some metagame changes i.e. turtling instead of pushing onto creep. DeMuslim v. Ret seemed a fairly solid example of this but that's not the super super high level. Really impossible for anyone to say right now IMO, the metagame hasn't really settled down yet and that's what I'm interested to see. Is it really that much of an insurmountable uphill battle, or is it often that the zerg is just the overall better macroer/has a current better understanding of the matchup at the moment? Also I'm not a terran, I'm not sure how much it sets behind a terran if he does use scan to see if it's an all-in or not while going for triple OC/double e-bay, in time for him to put down additional bunkers to hold it while coming out even or ahead. Is one mule that gamechanging? | ||
