Don't even worry about it Jeff, it's not even worth responding to. People watch SotG for your guys banter and opinions. Anyone expecting more than that should watch something else.
I'm a terran, and I think the patch did mess up the MU. I think something needs to change. I wasn't offended at all by the episode and certainly don't need someone to 'represent my views' on the show. Keep doing what you guys are doing, love every episode.

I think many of you have not played other rts games, cause you would realise how friggin well balanced this game is and how nice the constant blizzard support is.

It's gotten more and more balanced each patch, for the most part. Even those patches probably didn't effect most people playing the game, only the top level.

The game is balanced, ie it's 48%-52% win ratios we're talking about. To balance that out further, blizzard patches things such as "10 sec less build time on observers" etc.
Also your win ratio should stable out at about 50% regardless. If your race is horrible to play, you'll play with horrible people of other races to balance it all out.
That's the beauty of the ladder system. Why are you complaining?

I am a bit confused why Idra should not be told the same thing just because he is a pro player if Incontrol think what he said is proper.
Yes, he is a pro, and that means he dedicate himself to live a competitor life who should try to reach his own best instead of being depressed because he is facing obstacles. If someone is a pro player, he can lose more, such as tournament prize and fame/career prospect, by whinig instead of practising and solving the situation , more so when comparing to a casual player.
Yes, he is affected by balance more than casual players because his career is depending on it. However, he can put in effort to change the situation. Balance is not everyhting that determine tournament result. Instead of being a person who find excuses and blame the environment, competitors should learn from Fruitdealer, overcoming the difficulties and strive to be the best of one can be. Voicing one's opinion and hoping the environment will change according to one's wish should not be what a competitor do.
When a pro is whining, we should even be more harsh on him, because he has to be reminded that he picked to be a pro, a competitor. Just like Fruitdealer showed us, relying on your own self is a better way to bring result than blaming the difficulties. When someone else had showed others that race balance can be overcomed by one's skill, whining as a competitor becomes announcing to the whole world that you are a lesser player. Whining becomes equal to complying to difficulties and giving up fighting. Whining becomes admitting that one has reached his limit and no way to better his former self. As long as a competitor think he is better than others, he should spend his time working hard to show everyone that he is in fact better. And that's why we should be harsh on them, to remind them that they can do better than what they showed, they can still breakthrough and change tournament outcome if they are good enough.
To be fair, Idra keeps improving even he is blaming the 2 other races for his losses. He is still a competitor unlike Fruitdealer who quit because he lost motivation to become a better player. It is just that Idra whined when Fruitdealer won the first GSL, which to me he accepted Fruitdealer is a better player as a whole than he is, not only better than him just in that tournament. It is because he spent his time on speaking instead of finding ways to show the world that he indeed is better than Fruitdealer. And thank god Idra is still fighting on.
Just to emphasize, I do not think Incontrol's reply is proper. What I mean by being harsh, is to ask the whining guy : Is that all you got? Can't you do anything more to show everyone else that you indeed is a better player? Do you just give up right here?

If your race is horrible to play, you'll play with horrible people of other races to balance it all out. That's the beauty of the ladder system. Why are you complaining? They do, as evidenced by the queen patch, and the snipe patch before it.

According to you. I'd trust David Kim 100 times more than you every day of the week. According to the recent interview they seem pretty happy about it.
Blizzard has done a great job so far. SC2 is such a nice game. You fucked up. Stop being a jacked up hormone teenager who goes crazy over a 2 range queen change that doubtlessly won't change your win ratios in the slightest.
