He may not be my favorite caster, but it's nice to see somebody who does so much of what he loves. Seconded. I'm not a huge TB fan in terms of his casting, but the man himself is brilliant and he did a pretty excellent job on SotG this week. Loved the show guys, keep it up! P.S. We miss you InControl!

Get a Terran representative on Sotg! Every Sotg. So annoying that you always miss the terran perspective of things cos no one has anything to say. Like recently when the Blizzard developer update was discussed and the changes to terran were discussed only briefly while zerg and protoss changes were discussed in way more detail.

Clearly blizzard has no idea in hell what to do with Terran, there are no "changes" just a load more bad ideas. The picture for the other races is much more clear.

I don't even watch Sotg regularly but everytime I happen to tune in I'm pissed off by the very same fact. A bunch of fucking protoss and zerg plaerys being completely ignorant about the terran perspective. Am I the only one angered by this? I don't mean to whine. If it wasn't like this I would watch every episode cos I think the concept is awesome.

Also they do give s lot of insight into Terran. If you're that butt hurt go watch inside the game. You and painuser can go have a moment together.

And this has happened 10+ times. I also don't like that you seem to not be very concerned about how important this is judging by the painuser comment. What if Sotg had been run by a bunch of terrans during the beta? Neither of them acknowledging how OP their race is. That would annoy you, I'm sure about it. It is very offensive to hear a couple of tosses on the show talking about lategame PvT and complaining that the protoss army is worse than a terran army in an offensive position. And this happens at a time when every terran from bronze to GSL winner level has huge problems with TvP in the lategame. Terrans are very under represented as casters and as participants on shows like Sotg. And then people wonder why there are almost no terrans on the ladder anymore ... sigh.

If they thought extended series was good to begin with, why would they remove it just because it's guaranteed to kick in because of the format? "Oh no, this rule will have to be used. Quick, remove it!"

"Oh no, this rule will have to be used. Quick, remove it!" It has to do with the extended series causing games to be cut short in a tournament that's already pretty small compared to an actual MLG, whether or not its a good rule doesn't apply. If every series past a certain point is already 2-0 and its a best of 3 then they have an extremely short tournament which is bad for viewers, sponsors and ultimately all of MLG.

The entire problem here is blizzards terrible policy to try to balance the game for both pro's and grandmothers in retirement homes looking for a change from their usual bingo. Also their horrible "This race first" idea, Browder himself stated terran is the only race that actually feels finished, implying the others are shallow simplistic husks of what they should be, something which I find it hard to disagree with. On pro levels terran has so many different strategies it can whip out and even more important, stop any effective scouting, as a result of this, in the name of 'balance' certain strategies from zerg and toss have to be extremely strong (collosi, roaches) to give them a good shot at taking out the terran. For without those "OP" strategies the terran could just mindgame the other races to death, if all the units where truly balanced then the sheer range of units terran can produce in a short amount of time combined with good micro could would just do "terrible terrible damage" to any composition the other races can field, good micro is important, because as it is terran is the only race that has been designed with real pro play in mind, yes, ofcourse you can do sick zealot or roach micro but you won't increase their effectiveness by as much as say a kiting bioball. Which is also why I believe there are so many terrans whining in here, whereas zergs and tosses will have a more gradual increase in skill/effectiveness in the higher echelons of play a terran will only truly be powerful when you have the skill to do crazy micro and have a real understanding of the sheer range of strategies it can use, i.e. Code A/S level, which is also where they start to dominate the game. If they where planning to make a game suitable for E-Sports the whole idea to only give a single race enough attention to finish it is one of the worst ideas they could have ever fucking had because it would be exactly the way to create worst balancing hell. I mean shit, they could've just done 2 expansions as far as I'm concerned, but don't give them this retarded race focus, seems like one of those Browder ideas that sounds like he did it on a whim because it sounded "cool".

Hell, Nestea was on once. Before QXC, there was Demuslim, and before that I cannot think of any. Point being I think Zerg has gotten representation that Terran (though it still pales in comparision to the Protoss representation).

MLG won't be using extended series for the event because if they did then every single game in the bracket play would be an extended series. My point was that it's funny how they have a problem with every game being extended series when they have done nothing but argue for how great the rule is. If it's great they wouldn't have a problem with it.
