I wonder what the ratio will be the next episode:
With Incontrol being at DH and not at MLG, we can hope for a more reasonable split. But other than him, noone will have seen the DH games so..

I watched a lot of content from both and both were good but Dreamhack was superior in almost every way (I admit the MLG final was awesome) so I am hoping for some balance to ensure SotG stays relevant

my opinion was that dreamhak was subpar until the final day
then the final day was amazing
MLG was pretty consistant and better than the first day of dreamhak

But the first day of dreamhack is like 10% the quality of the final event.

MLG's games were far better than DH's. Having fpview was a nice perk too. Of course, I happen to be a fan of SC2. I know a lot of people in the community are bigger fans of white people and shots of people clapping and cheering.

By this standards IPL 4 is the best event that there ever was. Sorry but a tournament is also about the mood and production value.

I just saw your post, so not sure if sarcastic, but THANK YOU!!
As a fan of sc2, so sick and tired of the korean whining when koreans win. So many racists on TL, they only support "foreign players" which in most cases are white ppl.

I'm sorry but you ran track/cross country. The idea of you not appreciating crowds is incredibly underwhelming

supporting a certain player/team/country in sports isnt racist.

He didn't claim any standard, he just said MLG was better because quite frankly the player list was way better and the games were better as a result.

NO it isn't but the level it happens on TL is.
Always the suble jabs are koreans, saying they are robots etc etc and how they just tune off when they don't no more foreigners left.
Also about supporting country, oh so now all foreigners are all 1 country? right.

thats just a stupid comment. atmosphere is a big part of any sports. If there were 8 foreigners in a room playing games without any audience and 128 koreans battling it out with a MASSIVE crowd, i would watch the koreans. this has nothing to do with racism.

Why is there a need to pit one tournament vs another? Had it been monster instead of thorzain in the finals the event would have felt totally different. In the end, the tougher and more prestigious tournament of the weekend was mlg, but the more exciting and easier to follow was dreamhack. One was not better than the other, it just depends on if you like watching better games or if you care about watching a great storyline.

So what exactly you didn't understand from my post?
A tournament is not only about games, there are lots and lots of other factors that add up and define a tournament as being good. If he is talking from a progamers perspective that he wants to learn new things or study strategies then ok, but tournaments are not made for progamers but for the masses, casual masses.

Guess nationalism is racism nowadays. Them Americans must be the biggest racists around by that standard. :D

haha yeah stop cheering for foreigners you are all so racist . we should ban all foreigners from tournaments bc all the non korean fans cheer for them .

you want atmosphere and drama go watch wwe.
sc2 is a highly competitive game, ultimately the skill level is what matters.
