The CD key binds to one account through your battle.net account that you must register the CD Key with battle.net before you can even play online. Once your CD key is registered with battle.net it cannot be used again to register under another account But just to be clear, once the key is linked to your bnet, you can log into sc2 from any computer that has it installed, and you can also use one install disk to install the game on several computers. but it will require a valid bnet account with a real sc2 cd key attached to it

But I would gladly buy the extra copy of the game if that would mean my gf would start to play and not just complain when I do. So do it :D

I know that there are several threads about this topic and i used the searchfunction)) I just created my account today on TL so i cant start a new topic, but its also not necessary to start a new 1...however. I didnt find an answer to my question. For a second SC2 account I need to buy a second key that is clear..and I also need to create a new B.net account with a new email adress right?! My question now: "Is there a problem if I create a second B.net account with an different eMail-adress on excactly the same name and adress? Is that legal or not and does Blizzard tolerate this kind of smurfing?" Thanks in advance.......

This is not true at all, I have both an NA copy and EU client installed on my machine and works without a hitch. The only thing you need to make sure is that when installing, folders are separately named and categorized by their region. You're just doing it wrong.

Think this should just be closed tbh. Was a pretty pointless thread to begin with.

There is still no good answer to my question. I know how to create a second account, but it would be nice to know if blizzard tolerates and allows two battle.net accounts of the same person. Would be nice to get a reliable source, where this question is answered....

Yeah, I could be waiting for years, but I am in no hurry lol. Might be fun to become really good with your main and then ladder up from the bottom with a second account and see what sort of overpowering record you can have. Guess you'll be waiting for some time them. Look at what both the SCBW and WC3 battle chests still cost.
