Their goal is to make sure that we're getting the experience we want!? The experience we want is the LAN experience! We want channels to be able to communicate and find new groups to associate with! We want to be able to play across different servers and regions. Who exactly are they listening to to get the feedback about what "people" want? What a load of crap. This sounds like the Activision-Blizzard Hegemony trying to TELL us what it is exactly that we want. I echo Kennigit: Listen. To. Your. Community. | ||

This is a disgrace to the old Battle.net. - No Clans at launch - No Chatrooms (LOL @ the quote 'you really want chat rooms?') at launch And the fucked up part is when talking about clans, the guy goes "groups or clans" as if clans weren't even in the picture. Screw groups. I want clan battles. Can you imagine groups? Sounds like some carebear crap, which is exactly what WoW turned into. I was in a top WoW guild when that game was good (Before TOGC,) during Ulduar. And in this guild we all joked about how all the factions would mesh together and in the end we would all just hold hands and play the carebear theme. Look how it's carried over. If we let Blizzard get away with this nonsense, I hope you all realize it's a deep dark turn and spiral downwards from this point. AND lawyer crap about personal information? Give me a break I want some solidified PROOF. | ||

I remember coming home from school on Friday afternoon and felt relieved that the weekend has come so I can play SC or Diablo 2. I remember going into a chat room with a bunch of regulars who I have met in games and added them on friends list. We eventually became a clan and it was so much fun to just hang out in our chat room talking about the game, strategies, playing FFA, UMS maps, etc. Now there is no chat rooms in SC2? It is no problem using ventrilo and just talk on there, but knowing that there is no chat room in SC2 just feels out of place. What about the competitive side? The league system is nice and all, but where is this pro league that they mentioned a while back? Not to mention that we cannot interact with European, Asian, etc which is just stupid. I rather play a "foreign" player than watching replays because I am more of a hands-on type of person. I doubt I can sit through a replay and actually study my opponent because I will be bored to death. I mean, what are the chances of me trying to talk and get top players' contact info (AIM, MSN, etc)? | ||
