Instead of just posting in a forum thread and being washed away, make sure Blizzard knows how you feel. Here are a variety of ways to get in touch and also get the word out. Make sure to be polite and express your thoughts. If this public outcry does not work, a boycott may have to be organized. Another thing I thought you'd promised was chat rooms within Battle.net... Nope. No plans for specific chat rooms at this time. You'll be able to open up chats direct with your friends, and when we add clans and groups there'll be chats for your clans and groups, but no specific plans for chat rooms right now. Do you really want chat rooms? One of our corporate values is "Every voice matters" which means it's actually more about listening than talking, for us, and even though every voice matters, that doesn't mean that we're necessarily going to implement every opinion. While I understand that Blizzard can't implement every single thing the community wants, I take great exception to the idea that they are unaware that so many people (on this community for example) are annoyed about the lack of chat channels. This answer seemed so disingenuous. And the 'every voice matters' made me want to puke. Be more full of crap. | ||

As much as I love SC2 (Not B.NET2, so far), I am definitely going to boycott it, along with many friends if Blizzard keeps up with the "We don't give a shit about your demands" attitude and make no changes by retail release. | ||

the "do you really want" shows how much he cares this is the problem. But split community by 3 locations is really HARD. in sc1 50% of my friends are in US. so i have to say them: "was nice to play with you but im in eu now because i will not pay for 2 games." So im worried they make chatchannels and you think NICE they did it, work done. ps: wait until they start selling maps ^^ | ||

Oh, i know why. All the old developers have left blizzard for greener pastures and those posts have been filled by people of substandard quality. That would explain so much, such as how dustin browder said that they didnt care about the unit balance but just throw in some unit and tried to fit it into the game. | ||
