Yeah, cause an extra 100 minerals for an Overlord every 4 Roaches is totally cheap and irrelevant early game. No effect whatsoever!
Basically Zerg is gonna have no way to defend the first Protoss push except mass 100000 Spine Crawlers at the nat right now and ruining the economy.

Hum i thought there would be a ultralisk change on patch 12 not alot of changes good to see thor change up, i've been playing around with terran and mech seems pretty viable.

woooooowwwww. All you have to do to stop a cannon rush is move one of your peons around the edges of your base for 5 seconds. If you move your peon for 5 seconds you arn't going to suddenly be outmacroe'd. Jesus i can't believe people complain about cheese when they should be getting free wins from people that do it.
This forge nerf is stupid, because A) proxy cannons is not imbalanced and can be easily stopped. B) They are creating less options for people with their build orders. I personally never proxy cannon but i think it is important to be in the game to create build order diversity.

Naw there are plenty of ways scouting is going to go up in importance alot though zvp to get army composition with this limited supply though, i've barely used roaches in my zerg builds i've never centered my army around them and done okay in plat leauge so i don't think this will hurt too much just cause a shift if builds.

As for Roach being 2 supply, I think it's good. It just didn't seem right that a Stalker would be 2 Supply, yet a Roach would be just 1 (Granted, the Stalker can hit the air, but I don't think it's justification for an entire supply more)
Zerg as a WHOLE, I don't know.

next on my wishlist: 1) increase gas cost for marauders to 50 2) decrease gas cost for reapers to 25, slightly increase build time and or grenade attack duration in return.
1) will get the marauder closer to an unsieged tank where it belongs cost-wise. less marauder spam can only be a good thing anyways. 2) will get the reaper closer to the marine cost-wise.

I actually had to stop walling off as terran just because on most wall offs, they would make getting my thors out of the base later game such a pain in the ass. WEWEWew

it's funny how bad they want us (or id say they force us) use current-state-ultralisks in late game, and how bad they fail at it OK hopefully someday instead of another creative nerf they will simply calc the time cost and res.cost of one upgraded ultralisk and compare that to thor or collossi.

Zerg allready have a probem vs MECH terran. I don't know how zerg are supose to win now. P and T have counter unit (bonus domage vs armorred unit) not like if roach is ''that'' powerful.
- Marauder: the domage vs armored is too high or they should change building armor. Maybe next patch -_-

roach supply nerf doesn't nerf their value completely, especially midgame where if your army dies you can replenish it with roaches pretty easily, to fill your excess supply at a low cost.

Exactly. At the moment it seems cost for cost, rushing hive/ultra is more efficient than bothering with roaches. As if terran didn't have a huge time window to go any tech route to begin with, now we have to make twice as many overlords, and now should a terran be bad enough to allow the game to go long enough to reach endgame, they'll have a bigger army than the zerg unless he goes 100% zerlings. does that seem racially correct?

I would say I'm most excited by the Thor change, but really the whole not crashing when I exit the program leaves me with the most glee.

I really don't understand why anyone is complaining about the Thor size reduction. Is the argument based solely on aesthetics? This was a HUGE buff to Thors, since you can get more than two or three into actual combat range now.
The massive size of Thors/Ultralisks is what has been hampering those units since day one. Good statlines don't mean anything at all if you can't get into combat range, and the size meant that only 2 or 3 thors could ever get into kill range. As we all know, since Ultras are melee, their huge size means zero get into kill range. The only reason this enormous size doesn't hamper the Colossus is because they walk over everything in their way. Thors got some good buffs to compensate, and now that they have a size reduction, I think we're going to see a very large increase in general Thor strategies. Probably won't be quite as popular as the Colossus, since they're still pretty good-sized, but it looks like it's toned down enough that they'll be very effective.
Now let's see what they do with the Ultra. Hopefully they give it unitwalking, or some other way to get around the massive size handicap. I doubt it. Probably they'll buff it's statline and continue to ignore the fact that it never gets into combat range.

Interesting patch changes....I'm sad they made roaches 2 food. Zerg no longer has 1 food units and thats kinda depressing....the inablility to make an army larger than 80 is sad...

i will just mass more and more spine and sporecrawlers until i get enough hydras and/or mutas. thats the way i will play now, putting down like 20 spines and 5 spores + queens... or i will just mass Queens 3-4 main base and 3-4 expo. But just playing zerglings until i got hydras or even mutas is just stupid... i mean the roaches i produced where already countered by immos/marauders. now i will have cut my raoch units in half... lol. just stupid for early game.
