I had to lol when I saw that roach nerf. I mean I don't see it having a big difference in early game zvt and zvp but zvz is going to veer even more toward mass ling openings.
Diversifying late game armies is nice so I guess it isn't too big a deal.

+ Radius decreased from 1.375 to 0.8125.

+ Supply count increased from 1 to 2.
Not exactly sure how much of an impact this will have on zerg, but for sure, it will reduce the stregnth of the zerg's 200/200 army. Roaches are now supply whores, like zealots. As a biased protoss favour, I support this change, seeing as how a roach wins 1:1 against a zealot, and how cheap they are.
Also, this increase in supply will probably strengthen the protoss FE build in PvZ, as the protoss can get away with less cannons.

The roach change is fine, but now I believe that it is weak enough to make either the "Organic Carapace" (more regen) or the "Tunneling Claws" (moving burrowed) upgrade inherent to the unit.
It would simplify the game and gives a more precise role to the roach.

To all the Terran players out there, I tell u people one thing, the thor has been majorly buffed. When fighting in small chokes, more thors will be able to fit in a given space and will thus do more damage.

i always thought it was strange that roaches had 6 more damage than a stalker yet took half the supply and half the resources. honestly when i first started playing i thought 1 food roach was a bug (but that was when they had 2 armor too).

they will still be used, they are still the best hp/resources unit in the game (besides overlords and ultras i think), and are therefore necessary for tanking for hydras/mutas/infestors in fights. you just gotta build a few more ovies and your 200 food army will be weaker so you'll have to fight earlier.

Forge nerf makes sense guys, protoss timing +1 timing attacks were very strong in PvT, and in PvZ the sim city build is to strong as well. Roach nerf and no ultra changes tho.......... well as a T player I have a guiilty smile but still feel bad for Zergs.

Tunneling Claws would make sense because the roach would still need Burrow to be researched. (ie it would stay a Lair level upgrade)

probably restore Organic Carapace's boost to unburrowed regen (making roaches still viable late game.... perhaps make it an Ultralisk upgrade as well)
