-Observer -Bronze League #1v1 -Silver League #2v2 If it is and I didn't see it , can someone helm me out? The league info is not stored in replays so that is not available for naming. The game type is stored so you can use that to create sub-folders. So the most you can do is sort replays to sub-folders like "1v1", "2v2", "AutoMM", "Private", "Public" (or any other name that is available to use in the template). Do I have to manually sort them in sub-folders or is there an option? I in no mean want to sound lazy, but just wondering if it could get any better :D You don't have to do it manually, Sc2gears can do that for you. If your auto-save name template contains sub-folders, they will be separated right away as you play the games. If you already have them in a folder, then perform a replay search, select all replays in the result table, then right click, select Rename, then provide a template like: "/f\/n./e". This template does not rename replays (the /n is the original name) but only rearranges them into sub-folders based on the game format (1v1, 2v2 etc). Of course you can rearrange them by anything else too, or you can even rearrange them into multi-level sub-folders (e.g. game format inside game type folder). Can You make a step by step guide for me, since it doesn't work... It Saves my Replays as "/T - </p(/r)> on /m #/W1./e" as I've set it up. So I've to search all replays and from there on could u provide steps? Sorry, If I ask much Make a copy of your replays to a folder like "C:\allreps". Now search for all replays inside that folder. In the results tab select all replays. Then right click -> rename replays Now enter this template for renaming: "/f\/n./e" and proceed with the renaming.
Result: all the replays that were in your "C:\allreps" folder are now organized into subfolders inside that folder based on game type. E.g. all 1v1 replays will be in "C:\allreps\1v1", all 2v2 replays will be in "C:\allreps\2v2" folder etc.

I'm on a mac, if that matters.
The miscellaneous settings dialog is a dialog with many tabs. Someone with a MAC computer reported that the tabs (vertical tabs) does not work on MAC (or they look completely different as they should be). Try to set another Look and Feel, and it will show you the tabs. There is a "Folders" tab where you can view/change all the folders.

Can I request a few replays from people who have access to PTR 1.3? I wanna check if they want to change the replay format again or not.
People who can play on the PTR 1.3, please send me a few of your replays played on the public test server. Thanks.

Thankyou, worked just like i wanted it too.

Hey, I am sure this has been answered already but I just got the program and have a quick question. I usually view the replays in sc2gears by clicking on the auto save reps thing. How do I add into that previous replays from before I got sc2gears.
Thanks

Thanks There are many ways to do that (as for almost everything in Sc2gears), here's one:
Create a new replay source. To do that, start a new replay search (double click on the <new> item under Replay search in the navigation tree). You'll find yourself on the "Search source" tab. Here you can add any folders or direct replay files. Adding a folder means to include all replays that are inside of it (recursively). Once you added everything you planned (it can be only one folder too if you keep all your replays in a folder), save the replay source by clicking on the "Save replay source" button. Save it in the folder that comes up by default. If you do so, it will automatically appear in the navigation tree.
Now that you have a new replay source, simply double click on it in the navigation tree, and all of its replays will be listed. You get more options if you right click on it instead of double clicking on it.

i love that this is still being updated consistently. great programming and dedication!

Are there any websites that have taken use of the "replay sharing" feature yet? Sounds like a brilliant idea, especially if pro's start using it to automatically upload all of their played games, so us users can look up their account on the given website to download replays
|
Could it be possible for us to filter the maps we want to see in the "maps" tab on multi replay analysis? Right now there are a lot of old maps that are unnecessary for us to see on the list and it makes dificult to quickly see the actual maps.

Thanks so much for the help dude!

If you try to share a replay (File->Share replay...), you will see that the combo box to choose the replay site contains 2 elements: ReplayFu.com and TopReplays.com.

Replays (replay sources or replay lists) can be pre-filtered before performing a multi-replay analysis by any search fields and combinations including the map.
Tips how to achieve what you want: -Filter the replays by maps your interested in. -If you don't want to enter the names of all maps, you can either enter them once and save the filters... -Or you can filter by Replay Date or Version which will obviously exclude old replays and maps.
For example if you filter replays by version, min version=1.2, then obviously you will only see the newest maps (maps since 1.2).

Hey! I have a suggestion!
Make it so you can divide replays by ladder season!
This should be easy(?), since all replays are dated, you can use a sort function to divide out the replays and start multi-rep analysis by ladder season, since ladder seasons begin and end on certain dates.
With w/l not being tracked except for Master and above, this is actually a really cool feature.
Also, you can then start looking at your progression across the board over multiple ladder seasons.

I just want to say how unbelievably awesome and useful sc2gears is, I am eternally grateful to you sir.
the multi rep analysis. <---- this feature and the stats u get is just PRICELESS.

This program is awesome, thanks for the effort. I used it during the beta with some success, I will probably start using it again now for it's autosave replays features and mass analysys.
I have a question, hopefully it hasn't been answered before because the searches I made on the forums didn't bring anything up.
The FAQ says: "Can I launch replays with Sc2gears? Yes. First make sure your StarCraft 2 is not running. After that right click on the replay (either in the Replay analyzer or in a Results tab of a replay search) and choose "Watch replay"."
I tried this and what happens is I get the bnet login, then the classic bnet screen and nothing happens. Am I doing anything wrong? What I was hoping was just a quick launch of the replay in offline mode (no bnet login, no need to copy my replays in the normal C:\Users\...\Documents\StarCraft II\Accounts\...\...\Replays\Multiplayer folder, etc...
Thanks

Thanks It should do exactly what you expect.
What OS do you have?
If SC2Replay files are associated with StarCraft II.exe for you, what happens if you double click on them?

Thanks for the fast answer. I have windows 7. I have the reps associated with the sc2 launcher and the exact same thing that I described happens.
