But that little bug aside this is an AMAZING piece of work. Suggestions: - Allow searches to go by race. TvZ for example. Or at least add each races workers to the unit list so I can get around this lack of functionality by saying 'must include scv and drone' - Allow searches to include map name. At the moment I get around both of these by renaming replays to include the matchup and map in the title and do searches including these bits of information for filename. Keep up the good work.

Every 1v1 game I have tried to open has worked, but I've tried a couple of 2v2 replays and it just crashes sc2 before it starts loading. I didn't have a copy of sc or the editor open at the time. Map name filter is already included, look again on the Search filters tab. Race match-up filter is not yet included, I'm working on it. Will be out hopefully in 1-2 days.

Changes since version 0.80: ---------------------------------- -Added a simple-to-use but powerful Race match-up filter. You can enter race letters you're looking for. Symbols (in English): P - Protoss, T - Terran, Z - Zerg, R - Random, v to separate teams, * to match all races. Examples: ZvT, TvR, Tv*, ZPvPT, ZZv**, ZTP. If you don't provide team separation just race letters, it will list replays where the indicated races were used. Example: if you search for "ZPT*", it will list replays where all races were used, and there was at least a 4th player. If you provide team separation, it will list replays where the grouped races were in the same team. The "Exact match" property in case of this filter means: if it is checked, only replays that have exactly the same amount of teams and races as specified will be listed. For example ZvZ without exact match will also list ZTvZP for example. ZvZ with exact match will only list ZvZ. Note 1: if you have a replay of TvR which turned out to be TvZ, it will match both "TvR" and the "TvZ" patterns, but not the "TvP" pattern for example. Note 2: if you have a replay of TvZ (chosen T and Z, not random), it will not match the "TvR" pattern. Note 3: the race letters are the first letters of races in the language of Sc2gears! For example in Swedish the letter for Random is 'S'. The tool tip shows the proper letters of races in the language of Sc2gears. Note 4: the Race match-up filter can be combined with the Match-up filter of course, but care must be taken as they might work against each other (for example searching for "1v1" and "**v**" will never give any results). -Added a new folder setting: "Default folder when opening replays". If this is set, replay choosing dialogs will start from this folder. -Added German translation for version 0.82 by Stephan Wimmer. -Added Swedish translation for version 0.80 by Marcus Östergren. -Added Russian translation for version 0.80 by Nikita "niyaro" Tsarev. -Added French translation for version 0.82 by Romain Salvin. -User home relative paths in the folder settings are now handled this way: if the specified path exists, it will be used as-is. If doesn't, it will be completed with the user home (prepend). So if your Documents folder is placed outside of your home folder, just give the absolute path you want to use and it'll work. -On MAC OS and MAC OS-X StarCraft is started with command: "StarCraft II.app".

Although if I set a list of 12 replays as source and search for "Pv*" I get 2 hits. But 10 out of those 12 games have been PvT or PvZ (no random), all 1on1. Using "P*" returns 10 hits. Also in the german translation Z is used for both zerg and random ![]()

The results: Overall: 12 replays 4 of them do not contain protoss which leaves us 8. In 2 of them were only indicated that the players belong to different teams, in the rest the information stored in the replay stated that they were in the same teams. In these cases search like this: "p*" and "1v1". This search lists all 8 replays.

Maybe its a problem with the way u parse the replays? Or why would the players be on the same team?

Two things I'd like to see right from the search results: - Game date. SC2's in-game replay selector lists a date too, so I guess it must be stored somewhere. - APM of both players if it's a 1v1

I can't launch past patches replays, and of course the only way that works is from the replay section ingame. Is it possible to launch previous version replays if you know the exact version? I also love the tech search options, the build order is kinda hard to use (you need to specify the EXACT building order, this includes failed buildings), but the general tech filters (like banelings, void ray, HT, etc) work very well.

As stated numerous times, I will not support replays before version 0.11 because a) that format is past, we will never see it again b) you should not learn from a replay with version of 0.2 where everything was different and as the balancing goes on, that strategy might completely fail As for replays with version 0.11 and after, Sc2 determines the proper version and loads the appropriate version of Sc2 to play it (afaik). Regarding to build order search: replays only record the build and cancel actions. To determine if an action is executed eventually would require to recreate the game engine which u can't expect.
