Reposting due to importance and new page...
HELL! IT'S ABOUT TIME!
Today I introduce a new feature in the Sc2gears Database: Database Account Sharing!
You can now share your Sc2gears Database Account with other Google Accounts and they will be able to use your storage and access your content as it would be theirs (controlled by permissions). You can set permissions for each granted Google Account individually fine tuning who can do and what within the shared database account.
The new Sharing feature makes the Sc2gears Database ideal for StarCraft II teams to store and share their replays with the team.
Let the new Sc2gears Database shine! Read the details on the Sc2gears Database page.

That is awesome news that you didn't shoot down the idea on the spot or say it couldn't be done, . You are always finding new and cool ways to make SC2Gears better, so I understand why it isn't your priority.
Do you think it is a good idea?

Yes, I think it's a good idea, I just have to decide how to integrate it while trying to keep the interface clean (as Sc2gears already knows too much and the UI (might) get too complex/overwhelming).

Do I have the problem with the client or does the client have problem getting the league info of those I played against? It shows NA of anything that isn't cached. It shows cached league placement and rank (and symbol) of me, and tries to load the other after the match. Sometimes it does and quickly shows NA symbol again.
Problem with Blizzard servers? Happened for 1-2 days now.

Problem with Blizzard servers? Happened for 1-2 days now. Blame Diablo 3. Due to the recent release of Diablo 3 (since you have the "problem") Blizzard's servers are overloaded, and when Sc2gears tries to acquire player profile info, in many cases Blizzard's servers report back an error due to heavy load.

Just wanted to let you know I did keep my word and I donated to you today. I just started playing again and now have a means to donate in US currency, and realized how indispensable this program is to my starcraft experience.
I still have every replay archived for the past two years and can pull it all up with a quick search... it's quite amazing and I just wanted to say thanks and I know the donation probably isn't nearly enough but hopefully it will help!
Please keep up the great work, and to anyone else who uses this program like I do... stop being a cheap ass if you can help it!

Hey, sorry about that! It looks like I went through the donation screen and when it said to continue and finalize I thought it already had!
Hopefully it went through this time!

Yeah, I know what you mean, the UI is overwhelming for new users. Do you think it would be too overwhelming if a new chart type that looks similar to the actions distribution chart but with redundant actions displayed was added?
Also, does it bother you that I am asking you so many questions about this? I want to be respectful of the fact that you told me it was not a priority but I still enjoy the fact that you are responding to my feedback,

And no, it doesn't bother me at all. All questions and suggestions are most welcome. I do my best to answer all questions and to react to all suggestions (both here and on the official Sc2gears forum). I think I replied to everyone's questions, and if I missed someone/something, just ask again.
Although I try to keep everyone's opinion and suggestion in mind, I cannot comply with or fulfill every request. I have standards to maintain and many aspects to keep focus on. Sc2gears is to serve all (or the most) of us, not just a specific area of the game or a specific type of players.

edit: emailed you Yes, it's easy. It doesn't matter how many replays you have, just list them in Sc2gears, select all, right click and choose "Store replays...". That's all. First, of course, set your Authorization key (Misc settings dialog, Sc2gears Database tab).
If you enable automatic replay storing (Misc settings dialog, Replay auto-save tab), it will automatically store your new replays (so you don't have to do this anymore).

There is an old expression that says: "the devil is in the details". I think that the challenge in developing such a chart would be how to group the redundant actions. Since you keep opinions and suggestions in mind and do not mind the questions, I will do some thinking and share my ideas.
And you do an amazing job of responding to people, your dedication to SC2Gears is impressive! When I graduate (soon) and get a job (soon), I will donate, regardless of whether or not this idea is implemented. It is sometthing I've wanted to do for a long time, even before Leven realized that redundant EAPM could be a problem, through SC2Gears of course!

I'm so excited!!!!
I feel like Blizzard just announced some new patch notes!!!!

how do I set it up so specifically, all 1v1 ladder games of Belial are their own folder, and their own source?
I have a problem where when I download ladder 1v1 replays of other people, it's included in my "Ladder" source. I'd rather not have to hit "Apply Filter" everytime to my "Ladder" source.
And there's also a similar problem with the replay save folders. In the "1v1 Auto MM" folder, 1v1 auto mm games taht I download of other people and view in sc2, get added to that folder. How do I avoid that?

How do I avoid that? Preparation: add your name to the favored player list and you will always be listed as player 1.
If you want your own 1v1 ladder games to have their own subfolder, then these 3 properties (game type, format, player1 name) has be included in 1 or more subfolder names. If you only play 1v1 games on the ladder, then you can leave out the format. Here are 2 variations how you should start your name template to achieve this:
/f /Y /p1\rest_of_your_template => 1v1 AutoMM Belial\rest_of_your_template /f\/Y\/p1\rest_of_your_template => 1v1\AutoMM\Belial\rest_of_your_template
Unfortunately Sc2gears does not differentiate between your replays and replays downloaded from the internet (and put in the replays folder). Having this template downloaded and auto-saved files will cause their subfolders to be created too.
Replay sources are independent of the name template. Once you setup your template, you will know where your 1v1 ladder games will be saved. You can create a new Replay source containing only this folder. You can create and save replay sources on the "Search source" tab of the Replay search. Save it in the default folder that comes up when saving, and it will appear in the navigation tree. You can double click on it at any time to list only your 1v1 ladder games.

Okay so currently my "Ladder" source uses C:\SC2Replay Archive\1v1 AutoMM as it's folder.
You are saying that I need to go to C:\SC2Replay Archive\1v1 AutoMM, open that folder up, and then add "New Folder" inside of it. And then this new folder needs to be named...?
/f /Y\ /T /p1 vs /r2 /N05 /d /h is my current "Replay auto-save name template".
I'm a bit confused still. I also don't understand the difference between the two example template variations you gave me. I see the difference is the backslash \. Do I need to create the new folder myself, or is a new folder created automatically? My template already has a backslash in it. Is my backslash currently in the wrong spot?
so the backslash before format+gametype means... i have a folder called 1v1 automm. Does that mean I'm making a redundant folder? I don't get what I did, i kind of forgot what I did the first time around (i just remember it was kind of complicated and i had to get a little help).

Okay I think I sort of understand...
If I want folders separated in Game Type and Game Format, and then inside those folders, separate by player1 name, I would need the following format to make sure I had a 1v1 AutoMM Belial folder to set as a source, as:
/f /Y\ /p1\ /T /p1 vs /r2 /N05 /d /h
(so the /p1\ makes sure theres a subfolder in the /f /Y\ folders of format+type of just belial, and then the /p1 makes sure that all games are named a certain way...... but i dont want "belial" to come up twice in the replay file name, but i also want to have the match-up /T before my name in the file name)
But... i dont want a new subfolder created everytime I download a replay of some random person. Is there a way to make it so all of Belial's 1v1 automm games go into a certain folder... and really, all the other 1v1automm games, go into another folder?
Like, all 1v1automm games go into a big folder... unless it's belial's 1v1automm games... which would be put into a subfolder in that big folder.
That way, I can delete those replays of other people quickly and easily, and set belial 1v1 automm games as a source.
Still confused on do i need to create a folder/subfolder myself, or just set up the name template and sc2gears does it for me.
