It might just be lag with the placement matches not counting same thing happened to me when I played on US servers but then when I was done with 5 games it just went to the league even though the last game it still said I need 5. Sounds like they are having issues, US was down this morning as well. | ||

Hopefully this is a small sign for an upcoming patch. ^^' Personally, I don't care about my stats anyways - it's all about learning hwo to play... We can start massing games and enlarging our virtual genitalias soon enough when SC2 hits the retail-market and there won't be anymore account-resets. xD *Edit: ppl like Demuslim obviously know they are good and we know they are good and they proof themselves more in tournaments than in ladders I guess, so if I was Demuslim, it wouldn't really annoy me that much. I guess ppl that get annoyed with stuff like that is more the average laddering-person that hasn't the BIG accomplishments and is just proud of his/her ladder-statistics. But that's just sth Beta-testers have to live with. ^^' | ||

first i climb to 1st on my gold division. then comes the reset. i fuck up the placement matches going 2-3 (veteran) and get placed in silver. i get to 1st in silver now this reset comes. i go 5-0 in placement matches and get placed in plat. fun swaperooha :D | ||

So any suggestion as to what we should do? We're #3 platinum and were really enjoying 2v2. Is there any way in which we can reset or something? Cause this bug doesn't seem to be going away. Lost my friends list, not in any ladders, it asks me the question am i a new player, experienced etc etc, i hope they have backups of our stuff. I think its either a big mistake, or they are trying something out, because they would of said if they were going to reset. | ||

I notice there's a skip button for practice league games tho - maybe if this is a legit reset that means I won't have to play any placement games? Same reset happened to a friend of mine, but he played some placement matches and nothing back for him. So, if you got a reset, don't play any matches and wait for your stats to be back! | ||

For example I (before the lil reset tonight) won 9 lost 12 in bronze league, after most of the matches I looked at their profiles to see what ladder they were in and most of them were silver, one of them was even gold, only a few matches were actually against people in bronze, and I think 1 or maybe even 2 was copper. So no matter what league you are in you will always get a challenge. | ||

However I still hope that the placement system is just being a bit arbitrary right now for the sake of speeding matchmaking and that it will be more precise later on. I know that you are not stuck in the league you get placed in but god is it dull when you get placed in the "wrong" league because it still takes time to move up. Right now for example, out of my five placement matches I got terran, terran, terran, random and protoss. Terran is by far my worst matchup while I faceroll protoss and zerg 80% of the time. I also had my opponent being favored in FOUR out of the five games so atleast in the beta, the placement system is not really ace. But then again hopefully it is just intentionally being bad favoring getting matchups fast rather than for them to be even. | ||

Got reset, lost all my friends, added all my friends again, tried to play a 2v2, it said "youre already in a queue for a match", I just log out, go back in, boom, all my friends gone again. Now I cant play any ladder 2v2s with that friend of mine I tried it with at least cause it always says "already in queue for a match" or sth like that | ||

As in, I can see their old stats if I look for other friends' divisions, but I can also see their new stats if I open their profile on my f list). That's pretty weird. I don't seem to be affected at all, though (just checked, my account is intact) | ||

I read somewhere if you don't play any games for ~12 hours after reset - you get your stats and friends back. | ||

Actually I don't mind the reset. I just redid my placement games and got into bronze, when I was in copper after my initial placement matches. ^^ | ||
