Marauder-I have to upgrade armor or weapon first?

The idea is simple:"which is the first upgrade i have to do?"
I have made an analysis using this calculator. I have tried the marauder versus the most common units on SC2 for every race. To make the post clear i have used only upgrade on marauder (i have never used upgrade on other units!) and 0/0 means no upgrade,1/0 means weapon upgrade,0/1 means armor upgrade.

General Conclusions: Only in few situations we get an advantage with weapon upgrade(and in all the case is a real little advantage). It seems always more clever to make first the Armor upgrade.

vs zealot
conclusion:vs a zealot army it seems more convenient the armor upgrade. If you choose weapon upgrade you will need 2 less attack for kill an opponent zealot, while if you choose armor upgrade you will need 2 more shoot for die . So you can take more hits by wrong micro without loosing your marauders.

Since Marauders are ranged and usually combined with marines, doesn't that mean you should lean more towards attack upgrade more when having larger numbers?

If you go marauder heavy in tvt you probably benefit most from the armor upgrade since marines is common in that matchup.
In life you can obtain all sorts of material wealth, but the real treasure is the epic feelings you get while doing something you love.

You can easily just dual upgrade since the upgrades are cheap + worth it :p

+1 attack usually triumphs because of rines and stim but all this stuff is good to know.

There's more to it than 1 unit vs 1 unit, especially if it's ranged vs melee (vs Zealots for example) or different ranges, simply because in many cases the ranged units (or units with more range if both types are ranged) will attack all of the opponent's units at the same time, while not being damaged by all of them.

The only way you can get the result you did in your marauder vs. roach comparison (0/0 marauder will end up with the same health left as 1/0 marauder even though it takes 1/0 marauder 1 less hit to kill a roach), is if the cooldowns line up just right so that the roach doesn't get an attack in between attacks #8 and #9 of the marauder. Otherwise, the marauder benefits more from an attack upgrade, especially considering the synergy you get from greater range + fast kills (e.g. like how a marine ball can kill a few zerglings in SC1 before they even get to melee range, or several dragoons melt before even firing against a large tank force).

I can say with a high degree of certainty that attack upgrade > armor vs. roaches.

obviously..but I have said that i have used a calculator..that not has groups battle or upgrade like stimpack or regeneration..
