Hey guys. I have been away from sc2 for a while now. Before I stopped playing I was starting to beat rank 30 - 10 masters on EU. I was pretty heavily into the game and it stills holds a very special place in my heart.
I had a few builds I would practice for each matchup. Vs Zerg I stuck almost exclusively to 1 Rax FE/CC first. Into Hellion Banshee and a fast third. I used this matchup to practice my economy management, and late game army micro. I enjoyed the timings and the more complex nuances of this build the most.
Vs Protoss I would 2 rax Marauder Marine push or 1 rax FE into typical bio timings and play. Very standard, very linear. I used this Matchup to practice getting ahead with multitasking and micro at the vital moments.
Vs Terran I would 1/1/1 or 1 rax FE into Marine tank/mech/bio (I'd get least practice TvT due to mostly getting Protoss and Zerg on ladder.)
Either way, I had standard compositions and builds up to date with the meta at the time, that enabled me to practice in a way I could improve. Not a way I could always win.
That is exactly what I am looking for now in HotS but I have no idea what to do. Which leads me to my question.
Can anyone suggest me some good builds to play exclusively in each Match. Ideally I am looking for something that stresses multitasking. Is strong currently in the meta. And if possible interesting. I am having trouble getting back into the game because of all of this. I've tried looking around and still can't really ascertain much.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm in search of some strong Terran openings myself (bio or mech). I don't really have any of my own ironed out yet as the beta keeps changing so often, but I'll share a nice TvZ CC first into battle hellion drop I saw Dragon execute on his stream yesterday (balance update 12):
SD CC R R OC OC G G SD F SD SD F SP SD SD Armory
All production buildings naked, constant marine/hellion production. He moved out to clear watchtowers with initial 5-6 marines. changed hellions into battle mode once armory was up. attacks the front and with first medivac picks up battle hellions and drops the main mineral line for a two prong blow.
Sorry as I dont have any timings for it, but I beleive the initial attack through to the medivac drop was in the 7-10min range. Seems like it would be a strong mech opening with the CC first + 2fac/starport/armory followup, but the game ended with the atk.

Since there are changes like siege mode without research and reapers without addon, It will be hard to get a non-outdated guide till release.
1/1/1 is even stronger, and proxyrax wirh reaper is pretty decent in every machup (but hard to transist out of ofc)

In TvT and TvP you can open with 3 reapers every game and utilize them as you wish. After 3 it gets a little dicey because of the mother ship core and other variables such as 3 gate pressure, mass reaper, or marauder pressure. If you choose to open with reapers then 1 basing will be a little less strong because you are delaying your tech by putting the gas into reapers. There are good 1-1-1 builds utilizing proxy factory and/or rax in TvP and TvZ as well. If you want you can also 11 rax reaper for a bit of a faster reaper.
In TvZ you can open as if you were opening reactor hellion but make widow mines instead and use them defensively. I like to make 4 blindly in case of any roach/ling pressure early on, then start to make hellions for drone harassment. You can transition into either bio or mech with this opening but I have not found much success with 2 base bio/mine timings with or without upgrades.
There is a marauder hellion/widow mine timing that works quite well against a lot of things other than muta rush. I normally CC first every TvZ so this usually catches the zerg off guard. My build is 15 CC, 15 rax, 16 gas, 18 orbital, bunker, 2nd orbital, 2nd marine, factory, 2nd gas, 2 additional rax. Macro accordingly, you can experiment with widow mine/hellion ratio but make sure you pull all your scvs on your nat with push. Beware of friendly splash from mines or it may be insta GG for you.

I like the sound of the widow mine stuff in TvZ definitely gonna try that. Probably just 1/1/1 in TvT and mess about with mech vs Protoss for Fun :D.

when do you build gas, when you go for the first reaper? do you wait until you haev the 50 gas or take gas earlier? Because the normal 13 gas would be to late, but if you take earlier gas the next scv comes out later..

I'm opening with one Reaper into CC then factory almost every game, gives you the possibility to scout and get ready for a possible attack or be on the offensive.
