They will probably change the healing from 15HP to 12HP / s. It's still up from 9HP/s

Blizzard has always said it is easier to nerf something that is useful, rather than buff something to the point of it being useful. I agree they will likely tone down the change, but I like that medivacs have a longer tail in the game as a whole. Also, it makes the a tech lab on a starport more viable, which means ravens can be produced while the terran upgrades their medivac fleet.

was just about to say that timebomb limits kiting alot, helps with maximizing storm so that combo is going to hurt bio pretty bad, as a side effect of the better energy healing from medivacs is that they are going to have more energy as a whole and feedback is going to be more effective as well

mutas speed was increased not acceleration...or was that a blizzard typo?

I agree with almost everything on this list. I love how every change is not a direct buff to a unit, but really premotes better control and ability usage. I love the idea of controling the voidrays charge, more powerful stargate units that can attack marines and better anti air for terran. I really hope the thor and HSM can give colossi a run for their money. The idea of those two slamming into colossi is way more exciting than vikings.

I really want a special death animation for any massive unit killed by a HSM, with a hole directly through the center of the unit, blue fire spitting out the back.

The medivac buff is only going to help with drops. AoE is still gonna destroy bio hard in big fights. I think people are making it into a bigger deal than it is. It would be nice though if the healing after getting caduceus had a different visual.

I like the ideas here alot. Will be interesting to see how people adapt.

My only issue is the terran air+ground upgrades being one now.... both protoss and zerg have it separate, why should terran be special.
You're not doing well, unless your being hated on.

haha how cool is that now I have 2 Yamato cannons. But I think I still prefer the BC one over the Raven. To bad they didn't made the Thor awesome, but this is okay too.
Infested Terran harassment has stopped working against +2 armored terran buildings.

Funny balance patch overall, but yeah they like to overdo it and then tone it down. Guess I will be facing alot of Terrans for a change. <3 TvT

RIP lategame protoss, The zerg and terran changes are cool though. Not sure I agree with that huge of a medivac buff though, oh well, we will see how it pans out.

How does the void change work, to they do thrir uncharged damage as base now, or their charged damage?
I play Protoss, because lets face it, who doesn't love hyper-advanced Egyptian ninja-aliens that kill people with lightsabres attached to both arms?

Their reasoning was basically because every other race/composition was getting better in the late game, so Bio needed to as well. Not to mention Bio already wasn't very strong in the late game, it relied on using Factory units in the mid-game and Starport units in the late-game to make it strong. Buffing Medivacs through a long upgrade buffs Bio in the later midgame and late game stages, without making them too strong in the early-midgame as they already are.

Also, they just wanted more medivac useage they said. With Protoss Stargate getting buffed and Mutas getting buffed seems pretty fair IMO.

carriers awesome now, timebomb+storm is devastating.

void ray change is much better, the have a flat damage with bonus to armored and there ability is MORE damage to armored.

They now have a use in TvP early game since they no longer 100% die the second a Stalker hits the field when moving into the Toss base but it's still not a great combat unit and build for ages with just 50 HP.
