They're buffing Medivac because in Hots Bio is having trouble. Don't take WoL in concideration for hots balance at that point.
I think the raven will be changed back again since they can now 2 shot colossi which, with the buffed bio, makes toss late game vs. terran a bit goofy. But all in all a great patch!

Why you think you still need to "survive" mech and rush to BLs?
Roach/hydra/viper trades ridiculously cost effectively with mech. If terran is even slightly clumped up, you can wipe out their army with minimal casualties.
I think you're right and the poster you're responding to is also "right" although he might not realize it. A lot fewer people will go blords now that the threat of 3-3 (or 2-2) vikings is present. I think most people will be happy that blords are not the answer to all compositions that terran can field.
I can't wait to see late game tvz now. It's going to be so different and, I hope, entertaining.

It did, everybody already downloaded it but we can't play since the servers are still down . They will give another update at 12pm PST.

That looks awesome. The nice thing is that all 3 races have a number of units where dodging fungals should be viable--stimmed Terran bio and using PDD to shoot down Fungals for Terran, Blink Stalkers and Stargate for Protoss, and the majority of the Zerg army (particularly mutas, and any ground unit on creep).
Have you confirmed pdd can shoot down fungal? (It makes sense but just curious.) Was that how it worked back when fungal was a projectile? Wow, if so. That is really awesome. It's going to make late game tvz even more interesting. That will be massive incentive to get ravens.
Personally I think Blizzards devs have watched too much "Home improvement" ... because MORE POWER seems to be their only answer to making anything interesting. That this big amount of power (=speed) is not making it easier for casuals to play the game doesnt concern them. Thus SC2 will continue to have a small base of players at the lower end of the spectrum and will live and fall with making it interesting to see some kids play the game who still have the reaction speed to play it properly.

Tehy want to promote ultras by buffing them, but the raven yamato seems to be very deadly to them at the same time. I doubt ultras will work, once the raven has seeker missile out.

P isn't going to have Colossus + Tempest until the very late game. If you open Colossus I doubt you'd tech to Tempest before Storm.

But Ravens that fire HSM become dead supply for the fight instantly. Autoturrets are still useless and PDD costs 100 Energy not 75. I'd rather have 1/2 PDD's with all the Buffs to missile attack units instead of ever using the new HSM.

The new Thors attack wrecks Colossi, and Vikings share upgrades with mech now which means keeping them upgrades is much easier. Dealing with Colossi is going to be way easier for Terran, even without HSM.
Where I'd expect HSM to see a lot more use is actually in sniping Immortals. Hardened shields do nothing against spell damage, and Immortals have exactly 300 health, meaning HSM will always oneshot them. Terran has received major buffs to counters vs. colossi and air units in general, and Hellbats own chargelots. But dealing with Immortals is still really tricky for a meching Terran. But Ravens hard counter Immortals now.
