Seriously. i feel like protoss really didnt change that much compared to the other 2 races. the new protoss units serve a certain purpose and overall they are fine but it's just not as game changing as the new units for zerg and terran. would have been cool to have at least one new ground unit but well, just my first impression of watching some streams. | ||

I've seen players use vipers, swarm hosts, and warhounds insanely effectively, but I've only seen tempests and oracles be annoying for about two seconds, get shot down almost immediately, and either not be rebuilt or end up implicitly aiding in the Protoss's loss because of how many resources have been wasted on them. I haven't seen them used that effectively in unit compositions either, whereas the new Terran and Zerg units clearly bulk up the armies and provide defense where there were clear weaknesses. The mothership core is pretty interesting though... a lot of people are fiddling around with that in really interesting ways  | ||
