Anyone with silver/gold 1v1 can do all the excercises. Didn't take me more than 3-4h and I'm not even half decent at micro. Then the portrait, is a baneling rly the avatar a starcraft master deserves? Personally I think the excercises that were available when the game came out. Were atleast 4 times as good and thought out. They were also more relevant and they weren't just hit or miss. You could actually play them again and improve your score. Cannot see myself replaying the starcraft master map even once. The original excercises I played several times and even came back and tried again after I got some skillz.

Keep GB'ing the tanks and use the archon and stalkers to clean up rauders and tanks. use phoenix for raven. this one worked for me. i checked youtube vids and what not... this was the most effective. got it in one shot. 28 was easy... stim, run back, snipe banes. not even speed banes banshee vs marines just takes patience. i only fired shots when i was going horizontally, just to make sure i could gauge the distance.

dont bother with feedback, just merge it into an archon, have it move in before the other units, and fly in to pick up the 2 tanks and keep it picked up kill the mara, and then focus the tank down 1 at a time, the phoenix will die to viking after 2 lifts, so you'll take some dmg some 1 tank but you should be fine, then it's just 2 ground viking which is ezy and then kill the raven no fancy micro required

Number 12 took a few tries : as said above, put IT in the bottom left corner of the groups of marines, when there's only the 2 tanks left, don't throw them between the tank, throw one near the first tank, and as soon as 1 shot is fired, put the last one near the 2nd tank. 1st tank dies along with the IT, second tank finishes with 1/3h and the IT finishes it. Achievements took 3minutes total (41.5s for the roaches o/). Guess that's not bad for someone who doesn't even play the game, but I still can't damn multitask for the life of me... Maybe one day I'll hit ladder (and end in bronze or silver LOL.)

Level 22, bane vs bane was frustrating me a lot, until one match where I just ran all my lings to the bottom left corner and attack moved straight into their pile with my banes. The computer got confused about attacking the banes with speedlings and running them away from the splash damage, and my four banes blew up all of the opposing banelings and all but a handful of their lings. After that it was no contest. For level 27, Moving Shot, hold position was the key for me. Your banshee is faster than the marines, so you can right click a small distance ahead and click H. If the banshee doesn't start turning to fire right away, move it again, don't wait for the marines to catch up. Just adjust the distance you click ahead of your banshee each time before hitting H. For level 28, I immediately pulled all my ghosts and marines to the back corner, then just held down R and focused on clicking the banelings one by one. That was a lot easier for me than clicking R between each baneling. For level 29 (Let's Dance), what worked for me was selecting the two outer marines as the countdown started, and then right clicking directly in between the zealots as soon as I could move the marines. When I got a bit of space I used hold position on the middle marine, and just went in a wide circle around the center marine, because if I got too close one of the zealots would often run towards him. It was easier to err on the side of caution. I beat it without losing a single marine, I think the zealots would sometimes screw up their targeting between the two marines or bump into each other which buys some time. For level 30, a lot of people are having trouble with drop not responding. My impression was that it wasn't lag causing this, but that if I hit the D button before the tank was actually in the medivac, it wouldn't register the drop, even though it would give me the target for a mouse pointer. I ended up with the inelegant solution of just hitting D and clicking the medivac multiple times to make sure the drop registered, rather than trying to wait for a timing, which allowed me to keep my hands moving and keep a rhythm. Also, I didn't use hold position, and the fact that the medivac moves away can sometimes buy you extra hits against the stalkers as they try to get close enough to fire. Lastly, there is a rhythm to it, and I found that slowing down actually helped me in the end, rather than trying to do it as fast as possible. I hope that helps someone out there! Keep at it, it's a great feeling when you finally get that last stalker (my tank had 1-2 hp left at the time, so it's definitely a close call).

The bane wars one was a bit of a disappointment for me, beat it on first try with a TON of lings left... I basically just did the standard, 2 ctrl-groups, move lings back and banelings forward... didn't really have to do anything else with my lings, didn't move them far enough back to not aggro, so they rushed in automatically, but my banes had already destroyed his banes and most of his lings by then. Also surprised blink of an eye was so late, I didn't lose a single stalker on my first try.

For each round I explain exactly what I'm going to do, then execute as best as I can to show you how to do it. I'm aware that there are more than 1 guide (even in this thread) on completing these, but I tried to explain as much as possible to help you out. So if you're still stuck on any of the challenges, check out the video and hopefully it will help a bit. =)

You have to be insanely good to think the last one is super easy. The rest were pretty damn easy though. The "micro-insanity" one was telling of the whole custom game. It had little to do with micro and more to do with figuring out what to do. Once you knew what to do it took very little micro.
