Main, the one north, the one directly east, the one directly south, the next one directly south, the north-western most one, and I win.

What you want to do is + Show Spoiler + lure the Brutalisk to the low ground on the RIGHT, not straight up. If you lure him to the low ground on the right, you can make him stay there for 10+ seconds.

I just keep the main army around the SCVs working, it has to be fairly big, so 5-6 medics and couple firebats + mostly marines and the reapers you pick up. the brutalisk was just natural, i expanded there and took my army to kill it, npnp I also hotkeyed all workers working the patches to 3 and army to 1, so it was easy getting them all when the lava came up

Was playing on Brutal. Edit: Make sure you use reapers to find minerals all over the place, and killing Z structures also gives money Oh nice did not know that . I'm currently playing on hard and woo tough I'm going to try working counter clockwise to see how it works out.

Are my forces supposed to be out of the lava? allright so i figured this + Show Spoiler [Brutalisk issue] + the units die instantly in the lava while brutalisk doesnt. I simply put a bunker two squares down the right side ramp + Show Spoiler [Finishing the mission] + pretty much didn't build anything, mined from one location(using both ccs is counter productive- you'll spend more on split defensive forces then gain mined time). Just fly around the map with reapers and collect minerals/rape hatcheries. I got like 3-4k minerals like that

I had a force of like 20 reapers (+ the extra reapers that joined my cause) 10medics so my reapers could get healed occasionally. when the lava started coming i told all my scv's to hide in the command centers lifted them off salvaged the bunkers. And would only lose 2-3 turrets everytime the lava came. Even had some war pigs camp by my medics to keep them alive. The bunkers I have course manned with 2 reapers as in this mission they dont attack you with many roaches. =) Brutal difficulty setting FTW On July 28 2010 06:52 Fruscainte wrote: The brutalisk was probably the easiest thing about that level. Was it supposed to be a boss or something? I just kept shooting and backing up, probably the easiest micro trick known to man and it didnt get a single hit off on my marines. It was a joke. As for the expo's, I went in this order: Main, the one north, the one directly east, the one directly south, the next one directly south, the north-western most one, and I win. I don't think it was supposed to be hard unless you made the mistake I did.... Use reapers hit back up hit back up.... *why are my reapers exploding the brutalisk isn't attacking them... Sigh lava... (on another note it got me to kill the brutalisk by lava
