Agreed. Kimmich needs to go somewhere else. Best for him and his personal development as well for Bayern. Build a squad around Musiala, Tel, Kane, De ligt

why should we care about a rapist?

Toni Kroos returning to the german national squad, might be interesting to see if they will perform better with him back.

I think time has proven again and again that you need strong vocal leaders in and outside the dressing room. Kane - I dont think he will stay more than 3 years. De Ligt would definitely be a leader prospect - he would have left if Tuchel had stayed coach. Now they can try to keep him longer. But it needs more than one player

Danns looked incredible for his debut and he's only 18?! That Eliott goal was all the hard work of Robbo to try to win the ball back, then a nice tidy pass from Danns to Gakpo.
We're facing a Chelsea that tied City away missing a ton of key players, Sunday is going to be a doozy but performances like this show me the team can still fight as battered down as we are.

I dont think Liverpool squad can compete with Chelsea in a final tbh. There is a limit of how much van dijk, macallister, endo can do...

We'll see if Nunez, Salah, and Szobo are going to at least come off the bench for the final. Endo Macca can still beat Enzo and Caicedo in the midfield battle imo. And Bradley pocketed Chelsea last time we played. I honestly think that we're underdogs now but we're Liverpool, we're never out of it this season.

Huge credit to Nagelsmann for doing that

The real vocal, expressive types tend to be considered your leadership material from the outside looking in. I think us fans tend to associate strong characters and leader types a bit too much with that kind of personality, to the detriment of others.
Indeed, when things start going wrong that type can actually be detrimental too. I’d wager the types of clubs where manager after manager ‘loses the dressing room’ quite quickly maybe has too many of those strong, vocal personalities.

Btw how many of you are impressed and surprised how good Endo is? Imo 3rd best DM in the league after Rodri and Declan Rice

Just yesterday I saw a short of Bayern vs Bochum I think, where Tuchel on the sidelines was going wild (go attack) and the Bayern midfield was just casually passing the ball left to right and back. I guess that is what "losing the dressing room" means
I like Kroos beeing back because it means two things: First Kimmich isn't playing midfield Second Kroos can play deadly as well as safe

Kroos > Kimmich right now, I would argue prime Kroos > prime Kimmich too.

Kroos is the most successful German footballer of all time and skill-wise definitely one of the greatest too.
But has a negative connotation in Germany - "Querpass Toni" because he said no to Bayern and became more successful afterwards at Real

Imo 3rd best DM in the league after Rodri and Declan Rice I’m still reeling from your Tomiyasu as Arsenal’s most important player rating, but nah I think this is pretty close based on this season. Caicedo isn’t yet Brighton Caicedo, and Joao Paulinha doesn’t seem quite the same player after his Bayern move fell through.
I thought it was always going to be a pretty decent signing, especially for that money. I think he was always going to hit the floor of expectation, be a good squad option, but I wasn’t sure where the ceiling was going to be. Pretty damn high as it has turned out so far, and he may be a critical part of a title winning tilt.
Good recruitment!
I’m less obviously biased towards Japanese players but truth be told I’ve long kind of rooted for them to do well in top European teams, same with Americans, there’s talent there and it’s such a global enterprise that one kind of wants to see it represented. Going way back to Hidetoshi Nakata, and I really wanted Kagawa to work at Man United.

lol Querpass Toni :D I remember when "packing" was the new hype meta metric to compare players and team (a bit what xG is today) and Kroos was the absolute god of packing. Fact is, this guy can play perfect passes across the field not seldom ending in an attacker alone in front of the goal

iirc toni kroos didnt say no to bayern, bayern said no to him.

Well they wanted to extend his contract, just not as a top earner. So for me its more like him saying no then Bayern saying no

Nah Toni Kroos left as his decision, not because Bayern dropped him. They thought maybe he was not as great of a player to warrant a top salary but they obviously were wrong.
