I mean sure in theory Spurs could have kept Modric and then Bale, but in reality they couldn’t really or they’d have two pretty unhappy players on their books.

They’re almost into a lose/lose scenario now. Win and hey it’s Liverpool being crippled with injuries and they don’t get much credit in the bank for it. Lose and well… oh dear

I cant believe this. Klopp is a GENIUS. I am so happy he will at least not go trophy-less in his last season

We have the same amount of fit midfielders going into this game 3? We have just got Chalobah last week to have a first team option of cb on bench, Liverpool had Gomez, so in reality better than us. We had Mudryk and Madueke as attacking options outside of Nkunku, which was the only big name on either bench. Hardly was as bad as it being made out to be. However, dont excuse how shite Poch is, guy is not a top level coach at all, made us worse, it doesnt help the people above him are even more clueless but Poch is awful, get him out holy shite.

I have never said Poch was good, he is terrible. I am the most anti messi fan in the world and even i can't fathom how he managed to make messi score less than 10 goals in that psg team in ligue 1 under poch! That is criminal alone. Boooooooo! But yeah you’ve been pretty consistently anti-Poch, I think I’m one of the few believers left here haha. Even then I think he may have missed his window to make a dent post-Spurs, football stands still for no man and spending most of the intervening period either unemployed or in a gig that blatantly didn’t suit him like PSG really doesn’t help.

Our players played outstanding today. Klopp said it best, this cup, although not meaningful in terms of importance, was one of his proudest cups to win. The whole team through all the adversity of injuries and horrid officiating pulled out a win somehow. Kelleher who had a rocky start to the campaign showed up when we needed him the most, unreal performance from him and a well deserved MOTM. Endo, 31 years old btw, running his heart out for 120+ minutes and dominated that midfield with Macca. Diaz and Eliott, also 120+ minutes, being our outlets and threats on the flanks. True grit to win this game from our squad of kids who have school tomorrow LOL. I can't wait to see Klopp field only kids for the Southampton game, but it's a cup I'm willing to sacrifice after what we showed today. Oh, and one more thing:
