Theyve hardly played together this season but if they avoid any more injuries city is likely to finish stronger. Kane to Son was four times in one match a couple of year ago, the year Son won the golden boot iirc

I dont think anyone seriously believes city wont win the league

Their next games are kinda absurd tbh. United H, Liverpool A, Newcastle H, Brighton (delayed), Arsenal (H), Aston Villa (H). Good timing to get back the world's best duo in good shape - but it's definitely not a given that they get 6 wins from those.
I'll consider City favorites, because of history and peak level, but the idea that anything is decided when they're 1 point behind liverpool and 1 point ahead of arsenal with 12 games left to play is.. again ridiculous. Liverpool has looked great despite their injuries (only recent loss is to Arsenal) and Arsenal have 6 wins in a row - and a much easier program than City (if you disregard that their game vs City is on away field.)

I actually thought about that one. But I've lost my stats website so I couldn't double check :'(

Pogba getting suspended for four years because of doping. Great way to destroy your career for good.

City are still favorites right now given that the way we're playing right now is unsustainable in a title challenge with how many injuries we have. If we can just secure a draw with City at home and emerge from the international break with Salah, Nunez, Szobo, Alisson, Trent, Jones, Gravy, and Endo back, then we can talk about whether we can win the title.
If anything, I have Arsenal ahead of us right now in terms of winning the league. Their form is good, they're not dealing with too many injuries, their players are finding form in the right point of the season. Realistically, we should only seriously think about Arsenal or Liverpool contending against City after Arsenal play City. We'll have a clear picture then.

I agree that we should wait another 5-6 games before we talk about a decided title race. It might be 90% in city's hands by then, but now, it's rather open.
OPTA gives the following odds: City 51.77%, Liverpool 36.17%, Arsenal 11.97%, Aston Villa 0.09%. If I were to set the line I'd take some percent from Liverpool and give them to Arsenal, but overall I think that's pretty reasonable.

Good thing about those fixtures, while being hard for city, pretty much win all 6 and titles done as they will have leads over Liverpool and Arsenal by more than enough as they beat them head to head. So while tough fixtures, the best kind really, win them and u win the league type ones.
De bruyne this season has 12 games and 12 assists lol, madness.

Yeah it's really in City's court and I'd agree with the stats that Drone provided. I've probably say that City will (hopefully) drop at least 2 points over this stretch, since I think they'll at least draw one of these tough games. Liverpool will likely drop points to City at minimum, then it's down to players returning to see if they can hold on against the rest of the league.
If I had to guess, It's probably 65% City, 20% Arsenal, 15% Liverpool at the moment given the injury situations and the remaining fixtures.

Pity the Liverpool - City game is so close. Would have loved that to be at a later date to keep up the tension

Oh come, let's at least pretend there is a close title race this year :D

Yeah, I doubt he’ll actually clear it up as doing so would require admitting he doped deliberately.
He copped some deserved flak at United but a really disproportionate amount of it at times, and for silly reasons IMO that went beyond fair game. Just a complete savaging for being the type of guy who enjoyed a laugh and a haircut.
Then he goes to Juve, clean slate at a place he did well at before and nothing but injuries. And pretty quickly you start to see the kind of questioning of his character all over again.
If the guy did dope it was probably so he could get fit again and prove that he was a great player and to stick it to the haters.
Not excusing the lad from going down that particular path, but on a human level I do have a fair amount of sympathy for the bloke too.

Aaand Tuchel lost some more points :D God I love being right
Also it was so easy to predict too ^^

Freiburg v Bayern had some spectacular goals, definitely worth a look if you haven't seen them

I hope the referee for Real v Valencia doesn't have his address in the public domain. Correct decision made but I don't think that will stop any of the crazier fans out there
Also Timo Werner is such a frustrating player. If he could finish he would be a God, but he makes Sterling look clinical

Correct decision made to stop the game on the cross coming in? Thats not right is it?
Also how he originally gave the penalty to valencia in 91st minute is beyond me lol, never a pen in a million years!
Also huge controversy in that Liverpool vs Forest game lol, not a good day for referees yesterday...again

I have seen him play and also saw some "great chances" he missed. This guy is fast and is surely ok for mid level teams, but never world class like some people want him to be. Its either a huge mentality of football intelligence issue, something is not right.

Bloody hell Rashford that's how you respond to your critics.
