If the NFL is not going to protect qbs equally, they need to dial down a lot of these protections for stationary qbs. I'd prefer open season for in the pocket qbs as well.

He takes a lot of uncalled head hits as well because he is big. It seems like the NFL is encouraging qbs to take the soccer route of falling down at the slightest hit and acting like they got shot by a sniper in the building. There's no way they go backwards on protecting qbs in the pocket, they want it this way. Figuring out how to deal with players like cam is difficult to balance because you have to protect a qb but you can't protect a runner. Either way, wtf was cam doing there? He's asking for a hit. In fantasy football, I have matt ryan and brady as my qb's. Who do i start next week?

With the Big Ben example, they don't even protect Ben when he's inside the pocket. Cam has taken some nasty unpenalized hits while throwing from inside the pocket as well. I'd go with Brady. He's coming back from a suspension, not an injury. There shouldn't be any issues about him regaining his form.

I find it really interesting how so many teams (Cincinnati, Carolina, Arizona) that were powerhouses last year have been exposed this year. I also think the Chiefs and Raiders have been overhyped significantly, but that may be my inner Denver fan talking.

2 cases: (a) Newton runs a lot less the rest of the year to protect his vulnerable brain (b) he keeps running all over the place and keeps experiencing mild traumatic brain injuries and is removed from games
