Then get the best quarter back available, then load up on running backs and receivers.

If yours doesn't, then go to fantasy.nfl.com and look at the default draft list from there. It is reasonable and if you follow it, it will make you competitive. If your league is Point-per-reception, select WRs a little earlier. If you have something weird like 2 QBs per week, then bump up QBs. If you do want to put a lot of effort in: Start with the expert predictions on points. Then adjust as you see fit. To adjust, look for #1 players from each team. Go team-by-team and find out who is the go-to receiver (it may be a TE or RB). That won't always get completely priced in. Does the team have a true starting running back or is it going by committee? True starters are very hard to come by and typically outperform others by quite a bit, even if they aren't well known going into the season. Will someone else take the goal line touches away from the running back? If so, take a little value away. Finally, with your adjusted expected season value (or just whatever nfl.com gives you), rank the players from top to bottom by position. Is there a big gap somewhere? When I try hard, I list them in excel and color code where the gaps are. Try to grab the players above the gap. Like, if the top QB has 350 points, 2nd has 340, and the 3rd has 280, then you want one of those top 2 QBs and should pay a premium for it. Don't pay up to grab someone just below the gap when he's barely better than someone 5 places lower. Try to grab as many guys as possible who have the biggest gap between them and the next best player at that position. You'll notice that K and DEF don't have a huge difference in estimated points between #1 and #25... so select them very low because getting the #25 kicker is only 20 points away from the #1 kicker while the difference between the #1 and #3 receiver in my league is estimated to be about 50 points. Obviously, you want to get that #1 guy or the #2 WR who is just 10 points lower. Once the league starts, don't get married to any player. Check the free agent list for anyone that breaks out each week, especially the first 2 weeks of the season. If it's a rookie/sophomore that's breaking out, I'd pick him up. If it's a veteran that has been productive, but people assumed would fall off this year, then pick him up. If it's some random middling player, I'd hold off. Before cutting, give players that historically are good a little more leeway, but not a ton if they aren't putting up numbers. If it's an unproven player, then don't be afraid to cut him week 1. Also, if a starting RB/WR gets injured, look to see if the #2 is available. Touches (not talent) = points. You can make up a lot of ground after a mediocre draft by being fast on the trigger when breakout stars emerge. Just make sure you don't dump a player who's just having a slow start. Also, I'd only get 1 K for the season (except bye week) and 1 DEF for the first 5 weeks. However, I've had success eking out some extra points by grabbing a 2nd DEF around week 5 and then playing whatever DEF has the weaker opponent. Early in the season, I'd rather keep that roster spot for an extra WR or RB who may break out.

It would be funny if a couple o line guys had family that were cops and just let guys hammer him lol. Those pictures of the socks are from before he sat during the national anthem, which is his right. Freaking out over this is dumb, hes got the right to say it and hes got some valid points

When you make not well thought out ones and have a history of doing dumb things it's worse. Then when you add to it that his play alone could get him cut it makes this move ultra dumb. I mean the fact that hes putting his beliefs ahead of his career makes it more impressive if anything. And its not like players have never brought up politics and social issues before.
