Because no one knows wtf is going on with college football for teams not named:
Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State.

Tennessee is loaded with talent. Butch Jones is just not that good of a coach. Good recruiter though which will do a decent amount for you even if you can't coach any of it up. Does enough to keep your job year in and out

It's college. A good recruiter from a football factory with half a brain can win most of their non-conference games.

Yeah like Dabo at Clemson. But butch jones hasn't done that. He has rich rod's failed Michigan coordinators

Bahahahahaaha:
Your quarterback: Jake Delhomme. No wait! It’s Carson Palmer. Yes, definitely Carson Palmer. I got confused there for just a second....
When we last left Carson Palmer, he was busy committing six turnovers in the NFC title game and destroying whatever confidence you may have had left in him. Fans can blame it on a lingering finger injury all they like. You and I know that, come January, Palmer is gonna fuck up all over again. He’s damaged goods. I’d rather watch Blair Walsh attempt another clutch kick. At least it’s over with quickly. The rest of Palmer’s career will play out like a director’s cut of the ending to Old Yeller.
WYTS: Arizona Cardinals.

Carson Palmer needs to just go away already.

Carson is the little Kurt Warner that couldn't.

Why do we have to play in Ireland? I'm up at 6 am for a kickoff.

Last time t was penn state vs ucf There's actually some rule about college teams being allowed to play overseas.. it's something like every 3 years (even exhibition games). Can't recall if ND has played recently but that would be one reason they couldn't do it consistently. Also I don't know that there's any correlation to ND having a strong Irish heritage and actually having fans in Ireland.

Vikings trade a 1st and conditional 4th to the Eagles for Sam Bradford...
|
My first reaction to that was "this is absolutely insane" but this seems to point to the Vikings thinking that Bridgewater won't be playing football for a loooooong time.

Yea sounds like Teddy is going to have a rough recovery.
|
How does Bradford keep getting traded for high picks. He has a pretty large salary for a guy that seems to underperform and then break each season. I half expect him to crush it his first game then suck the next, then break a collarbone in his third

Desperation? I don't know for sure what the GM/coaching staff situation is in Minnesota, but I thought they were all reasonably secure, so that doesn't make a ton of sense.
I don't think Minnesota is a great team, but they may be fine with pursuing 10 wins with a mediocre QB and a good defense. I'm not sure Bradford is a mediocre QB though...
