Fixed ^^

Kimi and Alonso best drivers currently in F1. Vettel only competitive cuse of Redbulls F1 car which is fastest currently. Red Bull should make a shrine to Adrian Newey.

Newey is a complete genius. I think the FIA should make a shrine to him, not just Red Bull.

There are many factors that must work for a driver to shine in the car. Dont get me wrong, they have already proven to be at the very top ,but in F1 you can never be sure which driver is best. You just cant, its not this kind of a sport.

I mean raikonnen last race had that incident with de la rosa and he stil finished the race on 2nd with damaged F1 car.
|
According to the team the damage cost him about 0,25 sec per lap. Its very good performance by kimi off course but front wings are not that important.
Anyway, P1 for kimi in FP2 today, should be an exciting qually session tommorrow. There is not much of a gap between top5. Ofc its just a practice session and we dont know what everybody was doing exactly. Ferrari, Lotus and Red Bulls longer runs looked good though.

Ayrton Senna is the best and there is no contest.

I still don't get why Red Bull are referred to as Infinity in this thread when even the program and everyone in it call them Red Bull still..

Webber 0 championships, Vettel 3. Vettel is definitely one of the best there is.

Vettel is very good at beating a man who had to bribe a seat at a midfield team. It doesn't make you great.
Edit: Great pole for Nico, but I think he will be punished for holding up Bottas unfortunately.

I will almost start to feel sorry for Mclaren.

Martin Whitmarsh is probably not having the best of times, hopefully they'll get back on track after the Barcelona package.

I wanna see Button up there. TT I'm not really good with car stuffs, but what in the world is making their car not so good this year? And go go Rosberg. Wow Force India is in the top 10, nice.
Their changes to the cars aerodynamic design have not turned out quite like they wanted it to. They risked a lot by completely redesigning instead of just building upon last years car (which was the fastest on the grid at the end of the season).
If they can get this new design to work though, they will benefit big-time. They are bringing out a new package for Barcelona which they hope will fix most of the immediate problems.

I don't even really know why he still has a job. Last season he had (widely considered) the fastest driver in the world and one of the most consistent and reliable drivers in the world in Lewis and Jensen along with the fastest car for almost the entire season... and what did they come away with? A DWC? A CWC?

And how exactly is that Martin Whitmarshs fault? Ron Dennis didn't lose his job in the 94', 95' and 96' seasons, despite being even less successful in these years. F1 is a team effort, but you're making it out like Martin is the one responsible, when there is lot of people involved in the decision making in an F1 team.
Honestly, I think if there is a guy that gets McLaren back on track, it is Mr. Whitmarsh. He comes off as a very smart individual in interviews, a real pleasant one at that.
