SJ played great, but I actually thought game 4 was their worst. Before game 4 I thought they were legit for the next round, but since they will probably play the Hawks, they will have a tough time.

Many Vancouver fans come across to me as being narcissistic. ~_~ Like I said before, Tomas should have started game 1.

I really hope that the Sharks don't have to play the Blues. That is one team that has the Sharks' number. The Sharks' most likely second round opponent will be Chicago. That's not a matchup that I would expect the Sharks to win, even though the Sharks are very clearly playing their best hockey right now.

no need to even watch the games themselves. CBC does it again with another great HNIC opening montage... so many great Maple Leafs in this video.. why they put Tucker in it at least twice is beyond me.

You can only use it once, and if you are wrong on video review you get a penalty against you but at least you can review key decisions like this one. Eh. I guess it couldn't hurt, but there are really so few instances where it would be necessary. You shouldn't be able to challenge penalties like in the NFL. Goals are automatically reviewed. What else is there really?

Sharks fans were happy when we dumped Murray. He's a great, physical player, but he's just gotten so slow recently. Our defense actually got better as a result of getting rid of him (the team got a lot better in general at the trade deadline when we dumped our slower players and added Torres). Hell, Scott Hannan of all people has played exceptionally well so far for the Sharks and made everyone forget about Murray.

Gillis gets the blame for getting nothing for Hodgson, fucking around with the goalies, and continuing to bring in guys that peaked 7 years ago... Roy... Pahlsson... SJ played great, but I actually thought game 4 was their worst. Before game 4 I thought they were legit for the next round, but since they will probably play the Hawks, they will have a tough time. as to AV, I think there are a couple points against him in this playoffs. In game 2, when they were defending a one goal lead he had the Sedin twins defending essentially a power play -- and they never do that. The Sharks scored as the Sedins proved incapable of covering anyone. Then in Game 3, when Schneider is clearly still sick/injured and when Luongo is playing strong, he puts in Schenider who promptly has a metldown in the 3rd period. AV is a good coach but in key moments he has bizare moves. Finally, the Canucks played an undisciplined series and some of the D men, Bieksa, Edler, were just garbage and that is also o nteh coach. As to the Pens, if anyone thinks Vokoun is going to carry them, good luck. MAF is a terrible goalie but the D is letting he Islanders to just walk in on him.

Take Malkin's zero effort to get back in the play when he causes a turnover and heads right off the ice. Still, that doesn't change the fact MAF has let in way too many soft goals in this series because he wasn't square to the puck and he's been flopping around this way and that.
