Every commercial gym needs more oly platforms...

For this, I think xfit actually does an amazing job. I really don't think these are any more expensive than say, Smith Machines.

weightlifting club was closed today so i went to the office gym for the first time. they actually have 2 squat racks and then some benches n shit. squatted (in pounds) 135 225 275 315 365 385 405 425 445 465 then 3x405 415 425. I think the people there doing dumbell flies were a little thrown off :p then did 3x5 press at 135 fo fun.

Lets see my weightlifting club has ~8 platforms with a combination of 5 squat racks/stands. my crossfit has probably about 8 platforms with a squat rack each of them dedicated just for oly lifting away from the crossfit area. both have bars galore and a few thousand kg of bumper plates. It's pretty nice
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

My school gym has two power racks and two benches for about 20ppl at any one time on average and over half of those people are using the treadmill or bike

Also been over a year now that I squatted a 300lb double :\ Was hoping to be approaching 2x bw by now but it is what it is.

Yesterday's workout after a recovery week of nothing but food, sleep, and chiropractor visits:

Squat: 3 @ 315 / 335; 2 @ 365 / 370
Paused bench press: 3 x 3 @ 205
Snatch form work @ 135
C&J form work @ 165

Gonna spend the next few months trying to recomp from ~14% BF to ~10% while making any gains possible - it's going to be a significant adjustment from the last four months of constantly forcing food down! That actually reminds me that it'd be fun to take a "before" picture for comparison later...

Today for the first time ever I used chalk. Damn the difference is huge.. 120kg is still pretty light weight but my left forearm usually gave out after 2 or 3 reps and the preceding warm up sets, my hand would simply open up and I'd drop the bar, but with chalk it doesn't move a single bit o: I might even be able to double overhand grip my working set using chalk~

Feels good man.

i gotta stop skipping workouts. just got back from a 2 week break. didnt lose any strength, but i also have not gained anything during these two weeks.

3x5 db bench, 50lb
3x5 lat pulldown, 155lb
3x4 pistols
3x5 db deadlift, 130lb
3x8 leg lifts

Man I admire this kid's strength. Amazing for his bodyweight, and his bodyweight is amazingly high for how big he looks. These weightlifters and their dense muscles and bones.. Definitely my goal body - even though it's unrealistic as fuck I'll even come close lol.

First time I see him round his back in the slightest.

front squat - 70 120 140 150 160 170 175 180 then triples at 150 153 155. legs exhausted
snatch 50 70 90 100 105x(lol) 105 110 115 120x 120x (sooo slow)
cj - 50 70 100 120 140(fucking solid rep. felt like hysen pulaku on the jerk) 150x(no clean) 150x(barely missed jerk)

all this squatting is beating up my legs.
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

There are only 3 people in my gym who squat more than me.. in a month it will be 2 and in half a year only one, but hat guy's best squat is 280kg - at least one guy who actually lifts. Them commercial gyms.

edit: on another note: what are you guys drinking out of? I want to get rid of my plastic bottle. Don't want to pollute my body with plastic particles so I'ma replace it. But I'm not sure what to get, glass bottles obviously break and I don't wanna have that happen. I was thinking maybe aluminium? Any of you guys do this?

I dropped a 38kg db on it. It was squashed flat and burst open but a single pinch brought it back to shape.

nvm, I guess I'll just order it. Sucks that they only sell bottles that only hold a liter.. 2 liters would be much better.
