Those are some impressive numbers your brother's lifting. If he actually manages to meet his goals, squat in particular, that would be even more impressive!
Anyway, today for me: Squat 1x5 60, 1x3 85, 105, 3x3 125kg - pulled right hamstring for some odd reason. Press 1x5 40, 50, 1x2 60, 70kg, 1x5 60kg - I didn't get the triple on the 70kg, so I'm most likely going to drop down to 65kg and get some more volume in. Deadlift 1x2 60, 100, 1x1 140, 1x1F 165kg - I seriously wtf-ed at this one. Last week I pulled 180kg after getting 4-5 hours of sleep, today I couldn't even get 165kg to detach from the floor.

Dude if you pulled a ham you prolly shouldnt expect much from your dl

Second time I've pulled one of my hamstrings in the past 3 weeks, which are also the only two times I ever remember pulling one from squatting. I'm pretty baffled, especially since I've been warming up a bit more, rather than less.

Concerning Deadlifts, I can lock out so much more than I can pull from the floor. Basically means that if I get the weight 2 cm from the floor, I am gonna make it. But the first two cm are the hardest, so you feel totally weak when the bar doesn't even move, although you are missing so little to make the lift. Point being, if you are a bit like me, that could be one reason for your failure at 165.

Yeah same, I've only ever missed one deadlift actually got off the floor. Once it's up its smooth sailing

Feeling pretty boss getting chin ups and pull ups 3x5 with a 35lb hanging from my waist. It's only the start though!

I can probably get a good 60+ lbs over my max above my knees, its locking out that always kills me. Anyways, here's my chest/tris routine for today!
Incline Barbell 12x135 10x185 6x225 2x4x235 8x185, drop 10x135 Pushups 3x40 Dips 5x15 Chest Flyes 12x190 12x205 12x220 Seated Dips 3x315 Overhead Tri Extensions superset with Pushdowns to finish it off, with alternating grips.

bench 70 4-8-10-10 ish, fucking up my back by forgetting to be stable and tight (remedied). could almost definately have managed a 12 rep if i wasnt tweaking my back the first 3 attempts. which means i havent lost too much in bench dead 90 7-7-7 ish, easy (but from a few inches off the ground) lat pulldowns, couldnt do 1 chinup but done like 2-2-3-2-2 a few days ago
sat/sun had 15 min jog around the tiny garden (basically around a picnic table)
getting to the gym and back is a 5 hour mission now work is killing me, almost crying the last few days, feelin better now i went to gym off wed, thu, fri so can finally have the mental capacity do some college work for the first time in a month. i really wanna ask to cut down my work hours, its only 8 hours sat/sun and 6 tues but i had to do 6 mon last 2 mondays and i just cant handle it. but there are no staff to take my hours i think. will apply to some more jobs tomorrow...
tomorrow ill go in again and do some 60kg squats and film it with my laptop. everyone tells me to not bother squatting until i get my flexibility good enough to do them properly, because im doing them improperly and am just hurting myself in the short run and long run. i didnt squat (officially) for like 2 weeks now i guess maybe follow up with some pcleans tho i wont be recovered. and should run again when i get home (just 15-20) i can quit smoking tomorrow too (again), will have my last ciggy/s in a min
overall i have been finding it very hard to adjust having moved here. i havent drank or done any form of drugs and its just a handful of late nights or late mornings and some poor nutrition and stress that has snowballed day after day. the next few days, being able to gym & do some college work, should see me surfacing from this shit once again...

His lifts: Bench: 325 lb (147 kg) Squat: 605 lb (274 kg) Deadlift: 650 lb (295 kg)
Height: around 5'9'' - 5'10'' Bodyweight: 194 lb (88 kg)

It'd be appreciated if you check out his youtube: iliftnoodbrah He's trying to post more videos and his progress of his (what I think is impressive) lifts ~
wtf man your brother is a beast, I think he can crush all 192 records except the deadlift (imba ed coan) within the next few years. He still has room for around 10 pounds of weight if he cuts a bit before competitions on that class. By far his squat is the most impressive. Man, he is so young/strong he could even pick up oly lifting on the off season and dominate kids of his age on that aswell imo. Srsly, he is really amazing :p Yeah his pride lies within his squats. Given our genetics we've been given a solid set of legs. He's been considering olympic lifts... but for now I think he wants to stick with power. On a side note, GoTunk do you still play BW? :p
No, I'm working on getting rich and breaking powerlifting records, takes most of my time ;(. Get ur brother to start posting here.

You can't live with a 5 hour round trip to the gym. You simply can't. It isn't at all sustainable and is probably going to cost you more (not just money) than cutting your losses and going to a new one. I'm sure you've realised this but you need to act on it now.
If you're trying to work and do college with 5 hour gym trips, you need to change something. I would suggest you take some time off from work and relax for a few weekends to figure everything out. I don't know how badly you need money or what your whole situation is, but clearly you need time to rest. Everyone at some point has hated their job, especially when home life isn't going smoothly. If you really don't have the time, then isn't Thanksgiving coming up? Use then to talk it over with someone.
While quitting cigarettes is always a good thing, perhaps now isn't the time to add more stress and pressure to your life. You'll have to figure that one out.
I don't know how bad your flexibility is, but I have the bendiness of an erect penis and I squat with good form. Try some bodyweight or empty bar squats in the day or sitting in a deep squat position until it builds up. Giving up on squats because you're not doing them properly doesn't make sense. If you don't do them to learn it properly, how are you going to get the form down? Aside from that, I think you'll find that as soon as everything else is sorted, your squats will be fine if not that then your squats will help you sort out everything else.
If you're into running, I suggest going on a good run on a day off. Clear your head and make time for yourself. Head to a bar for a quiet drink with some friends or go for a long walk.

Who wants to design a program for me?
I think I'm done with SNP and need something to motivate me. I want to be able to lift big weights, aesthethics aren't a main concern but I don't want to be fat, I want to be "just ok". Lower bodyfat wouldn't bother me, but I guess that's more dieting than exercising.
So, anybody wants to design a workout plan for me? I'm open to anybody who wants to. My stats are:
Back Squat: 175kg Front Squat: 140kg Deadlift: 180kg. Bench Press: 90kg Overhead Press: 70kg Clean and Jerk: 90kg Chinups: 10-10-10 Dips: 10-10-10-15-15 (I don't even know if these matter). hanging leg Raise: 15-15-15-15 Hanging Leg Raise + 5kg: 12-12-12-12 Hanging Leg Raise + 10kg: 12-12-10
So yes, I don't know what's my BW as of now, but I'll get it tomorrow morning and let you guys know.

My workout split was something like:
Day A: back Squat / Dips / Clean and jerk / FrontSquat+Press / Dips
Day B: Front squat / Overhead Press / Chinups or PullUps / Hanging Leg Raise / Deadlift
Something among those lines, in days I felt I was too tired, I'd not do the deadlift or remove other exercise.

Clean deadlift is a deadlift using clean grip width, hook grip, and a the starting position of a clean (hips lower, back more upright, farther over the bar) as opposed to a regular deadlift. Snatch deadlift uses the starting position of a snatch, and a snatch grip.

Pulled something pretty bad in my upper back whilst having pretty relaxed sex, what the fuck. How can I pull 2x bodyweight for reps and feel perfect after, but a weird humping session rips something.
