Seconded. Also do you have any short term goals? I set some goals to hit by the end of October, and now that it's getting close, I really don't want to miss a session. I want to either achieve the weight, get as close as possible, or in one case, see how far past the original goal I can lift. With only a few days left, every session counts.

How much do you weigh (@farvacola obviously)? With the carb cycling schedule I'm on, my weight fluctuates wildly (15+/- lbs), but I sit around 220 at 6'2. And when it comes to straps, I am cursed with very small hands for my weight and height, with wrists under 6.5 inches around, and if I don't use straps on my deadlifts or rows my grip is totally shot for the rest of my back workout, and I love pullups too much to sacrifice them ![]()

Where's that 180kg squat?

How much do you weigh (@farvacola obviously)? I have to second that... Grip strength is a part of the Deadlift that can't be taken out of the lift. A PR has to be done without straps. Really good speed I was quite impressed with that!

Y'all can keep your names on that little list though, I just want to progress.

I'm pretty sure everyone is OK with belts on the PR board, but it's never been brought up how everyone feels about straps, since most of us don't use them. 6 plates is still a damn fine lift - especially for 6'2 220. It's the heaviest weight anyone here has picked up to date, and that's not being denied. Congrats man, keep it up.

Y'all can keep your names on that little list though, I just want to progress. I always thought tlhf was about progressing and helping others get into training and do the same. Everyone here knows we ain't the next Konstantin Konstantinovs so the PR leaderboard is just another way to set goals and go forward. I've never seen any equipped and multiply feds accept straps in a deadlift and I was only expressing my opinion. At the end of the day, you can do whatever want. You don't owe anything to me or anyone else here for that matter. We ain't your boss.
