I imagine that they will loan young players to the team to develop. But MLS has a wage cap, so I can't imagine that older players would want to go to play in America unless they want to do it for 2k p/w or something.
Aww yeah.

Spurs fall short of Arsenal again
Spurs have not finished above the Gunners in the league since 1995 - before Arsene Wenger's appointment as Arsenal boss
I love such stats! ;o

Another: Arsene Wenger is now the only manager in the Premier League who has been at his club since before 2010.
Alan Pardieu is the second longest tenured manager in the Prem...

Dutch media are reporting that Juventus used EPO/blood transfusions in 1996 before the UEFA Champions League final against Ajax. They won it after penalty kicks.
Apparently an Italian doctor has absolute proof. Could become interesting .

Apparently the yellow and red is supposed to represent the colours on the flag of Spain. The more you know The catalanian flag, Not the spanish. lol I know they wouldn't use the Spanish flag but they have the same colours ^^ Politics in sports... doesn't UEFA have some rules or something? Football is probably the sport that represents the best the society... The supporters identify themselves with the club, so politics are always using sports to share messages... Athletic Bilbao is the same, they don't take any spanish player except for the ones coming from the Basque Country. La Real has something like thistoo... The Barca has always been a way for the people of Catalunia to fight against the central power during Franco years and even now for a part of the Catalunian population (a lot less people are "independentist" there now, but still some are).
In other cities like Sevilla, there are two big clubs. One, the Fc Sevilla, represents more the "rich" people of Sevilla, and the other one, Betis, the "poor" people. And I bet it happens in a lot of other cities in Europe... Where there are differences in population, there will also have some kind of politics behind...
Even in France, where there is a lot less passion about this soort than in Spain or UK, politics are always using sports as the example of the society... When we win, France is a wonderful country with so many ambitious and talented young people. When we lose, we have 'generational' issues and young people 'lack education and respect'. Not even mentionning racism...

That will probably turn to nothing. In Portugal, there were 1 or 2 reports by retired players that they used doping in the late 80's for Porto. And that the anti doping comitee (that was really weak at the time) was controlled by the club. But the authorities never got into it...
But you never know, because in Italy the football justice tend to work. If that would be applied in Portugal, Porto would already be in the 4th division (Take in mind that i'm a Benfica fan and this might be a slightly biased opinion).

It´s Italy and it´s Juventus. They buyed referees and other teams and still say "we won this title that the league stole us". They will don´t care at all.

I don't get why italien football still is seen as the 4th best league in europe. The league is a corrupt piece of shit! Old and broken and empty stadiums, worst competition in all of europes top5-leagues and not alot of talent...

I don't care about doping accusations because they refer to only those that get caught, lol. Imo every pro athlete that competes on an international level is doping. In all sports, well ok except sports like snooker but who knows.

Not in football. In cycling its 100%, but I don't think its that common in football - that would not work because its the biggest sport in the world - so it would leak pretty fast because so many people are involved. I don't think alot of doping happened in football since 2000.
I would bet my life that no Dortmund player was doping in the last 10 years.

Best quote in a while.
Klopp comes from a small village in the Black Forest – "There were 1,500 people there when I left and 1,499 live there now." He is the father of two grown-up sons and his wife, Ulla, is a writer. "She wrote a book for children," Klopp says. "It's like Harry Potter – but it's about football. There's no Harry Potter flying on his fucking stick – just football." Yet even if Dortmund is not the centre of the universe, Klopp has produced a magical world of football rooted in his normality and good sense.

Schwarzer can still ball. And hey, Spurs signed Brad Friedel a couple years ago when he was about the same age, and they were arguably in a much better position than any team that would sign Schwarzer is now.
And I feel bad for Southampton. They have all that young talent with Shaw, Clyne, Schneiderlin, Cork, etc. Shame they can't keep them all

I did say that's my opinion. i still watch and enjoy football despite of this.
But seriously, this multibillion industry is not gonna start saying "omg messi is doping, lets ban him" or "omg dortmunds physios are more like drug dealers lets disband the team", they would be dumb to do something like this. They would lose so much money.
Haven't you ever read news about a champion/team whose medals got revoked? Cause I think I hear at least 2-3 major cases every year.
In eastern germany and in general all communist countries during cold war, the doctors literally stuffed up the athletes with all kinds of performance drugs. There are countless documentaries and interviews, go watch them. The same situation was not revealed for the western athletes of the time, americans, french, british etcetc. So how can you explain the fact that these athletes who were seemingly pure(lol) were able to compete and even beat their doped rivals?
I hope your responses guys will not be about unicorns and rainbows and how you would give your life for dortmunds sake, lol.

In Other Transfer News (Portuguese Edition)
Lazar Markovic from Partizan Moves to Benfica for 10M€, joining Matic and the other 3 Serbs that we already signed (Mitrovic, Sulejmani and Djuricic) raising the number to 5 players from Serbia in the squad.
James Rodriguez and João Moutinho reported to fly to Monaco this morning with Jorge Mendes (their agent). Rumour has it that it will involve a 70M€ fee for both.
That's what modern football is becoming. World Class Players playing just for money. No CL or Europa League for them next year.
