At 5 mana it could be in here, at 6? I'll play faceless's instead. Oh it got nerfed to 6 mana. Ok I can understand that then since at 6 you want to be Leeroy'ing people's faces.

Divine Favor is a VERY good card because your hardest matchup is ALWAYS warlock and mage. These 2 decks love to have lots of card in their hand specificly because everyone is playing Curi's Handlock. The Mountain Giant thing? In that counter match, if they first card they try to cast is a turn 4 Mountain Giant/Twilight Drake. You are drawing 7 cards on turn 4. 7 cards for 3 mana is INSANE return. Like there isn't even a card to compare it to in value because it has never been printed in the history of card games ever. That is how good. Divine Favor is.

Yeah but what do you do to deal with the turn 4 MG, will you burn equality just for it? If not he can simply taunt it while taking out all your minis.

Equality/Swords/Conc/Chip away at it. Your goal is to kill him and maintain boardcontrol. When you out number his dudes 5 or 6 to 1, it's pretty easy even with an army of 1s and 2s and 3s.

and divine favor is excellent for weenies. It lets you overextend and be extra aggressive.

I like to call it slow lock, because I can also pretend people who play it are slow in the head.

Given this deck's tendency to basically play out all it's 1 and 2 drop threats quickly, even a midgame Divine Favor to get answers you want like Truesilver, Equality, or Avenging Wrath is huge. Divine Favor for 3 cards is already above-value compared to most other draw spells in the game, and for 4 is just insane. Just watching Cixah's games, you should see it's pretty common for him to go to 1-2 cards in hand while the enemy still has 4-5, especially if he's on the play. You don't need a blowout 7-card Divine Favor for it to be ridiculous value, and it only gets better in the aforementioned hard matchups.
