It "turns off" if someone gets too close to her (melee range). She's unsafe because other than Gust she has no peel for herself because of how her "turn radius" works. Makes orbwalking/scootshooting harder. | ||

This game is either going to be a banquet for liquid's cores or its going to be at 60 minute slugfest while drow gets Shadowblade/Daed/Satanic and MAYBE blink while trying to out position a Blink Slardar/Wraith King and not getting insta-gibbed by a Shadow Fiend. Maybe they run drow mid vs the SF? That might work actually... assumning you duo lane it and deny him hard. Maybe that's the plan? | ||

Is Shadowblade on heroes like Sniper (so boring to play against in pubs and yet so popular z_z) or Drow an escape/repositioning tool rather than a ganking one? More multi-purpose (and immediate) than Force Staff, harder to counter save for gem or stuff like Doom because you don't see where they retreat to, plus low cd? Also while we're at it, why carry Mirana? I've seen her ran as a position 2 and pretty often 1 in a bunch of tourney games these last weeks, and my limited knowledge of DotA tells me that it's not for the AS steroid on her Leap. Is it because she's good at repositioning with said Leap and her arrow gives her some self-peeling? Or does she has a good aa range compared to stuff like Luna, or similar to immobile carries like Drow? Shadow Blade for most carries like sniper ECT are self peel things that can be multi functional as ganking tools. Usually you want to get it because it "taxes" enemy supports into getting dust/gems/sentries for you if they actually want to kill you in a fight. If they don't have those then you get a free reposition/escape/reengage. Carry Mirana is good because she is so mobile, has a 6 second max range SETUP-able stun, and a team Utility ult. Everything she does is good at all points of the game, and her attack range/nuke makes it very easy for her to just shit damage early/mid game on people, while relying on Mjolnir and Daed at the end of the game to make up for that lack of pure damage that you see from Lunas and Shadow Fiends. Mirana is such a versatile pick that Chaun from the Chinese scene plays her as a 4 role if they pick her up because of how strong it is to have a 3rd or 4th core on a team. | ||
