The first missed tidal wave is at 9:30. I think we could've secured at least one kill then retreated from Katarina. I was trying to look for the perfect Tidal to catch two and I didn't find it, then Kat came down and that was that. Second one is maybe 15:50. I think we could've got Blitz, but at the same time, we didn't have vision on Zyra or Cait. At 19:30 we could've taken that fight. Forgot that we killed Kat so it was an easy 5v4. Even though I took a lot of damage I still had tidal, but the call was made to back off. At 21:10 I went for a bubble to tidal and I missed bubble. Maybe tidal would've been a better move. At 24:01 I heard dive so I circled around back. I think we should've dove that one. Maybe you guys didn't see me. At 24:45, maybe I could've gotten a tidal on Kat, but getting a tidal on Kat is a hard proposition when she has shunpo and one of the main reasons I didn't fire it off at her. 25:25 was a possible tidal but I felt very dicey on diving tier 3 with tier 2 still up. 25:53 is me being dumb. 28:20 is a real awkward fight where FakeSteve was caught in a bad position and I didn't know where to go or how to angle the wave. 34:24 I was trying to ambush Kat with an EQ combo but Dusty's Rupture came out and Kat dodged it. I suppose I could've done Tidal Wave but I felt that I could lure Cait with the EQ first, or at least Shunpo before Tidal. 40:25 Steve gets pulled. I thought it was nutty at first but watching replay it's just an easy grab. Opportunity to initiate is gone at this point. 43:04 Steve gets pulled, Round 2. 43:33 I heard the order to retreat so I back up. I see Dusty porting back so I'm not sure to Tidal Wave because I don't know if we're fighting when they catch Riven, 4v5 is no fun. I use Shurelya's but it's not good enough. I get scolded for not helping, then we lose 3v5. I don't think I did as bad as the feedback I was getting. I thought I threw the game multiple times because I didn't initiate. At the end of the game there were lots of "Well we should've done that earlier," but when I check the replay there were a lot of times where people would get picked off and the opportunity to teamfight was gone. http://www.leaguereplays.com/replays/match/3476079/ | ||

Also I don't like losing to StorrZerg, lol I think a lot of the ult requests were Dusty noticing fights we could take that players of lesser caliber like myself don't really notice. Overall, I think it's less about worrying about bad Nami ults and instead looking for places you can use it to make plays. Personally I actually suck with them myself because I'm more used to using it as a counter initiating tool but I thought the last nami ult catching Zyra and Katarina was definitely the game closer we were looking for. Don't take it too personally imo, I don't think anyone was actually saying you were "throwing". | ||
