It is very clear that the matchup is imbalanced, because if the Terran loses 1-2 small engagements he is severely behind the rest of the game no matter what, while if the Zerg makes mistakes they can get a decent scout and sneak in 20 drones and be fine. Starcraft still has Strategy in its tag, so this has no place in a 'competitive' game. Maybe give Liberators or Ghosts a passive 'Morale Aura' which gives +1 armor or +1 damage to nearby ground units, or both with an upgrade. If the Zerg or Protoss automatically gets 5-7 bases on these gigantic maps they've made the standard, there should be some innate advantage to maxing with Terran and getting the right upgrades. In the current patch you just get to late game and the Protoss plays musical chairs with building 3 colossus vs low vikings and warping 12 templars vs low ghost high viking. Versus Zerg it's just musical chairs of dividing the map in half and getting outmanuevered by the vastly superior Zerg late game army. Terran should be able to have something late game. Ghosts don't work anymore due to the supply, EMP nerfs, and they were never that great, Zergs just got used to A-clicking and now they fungal them and hit them with Biles or Ultras. Parasitic bombs need a damage delay because the range + instant damage + guaranteed hit is just absurd. Hunter Seeker Missiles were literally rebalanced ages ago because of the same issue. It's unfair to be able to pre-start a fight by pressing 4 of these on Vikings/medivacs and then your opponent has to do a 500apm scramble while you get to focus on other things. It's clear from all our eyes we are looking at a dark time in SC2 balance, and there is absolutely no argument available against it. I never read replies. | ||

Cure was struggling to handle all the things you have to control and do as a terran without having ghosts in his army. If he adds in ghost he has another unit he also has to micro and control with everything else, and he couldn't keep up with Serral as it was. Single lurkers were butchering his mineral lines and a single lurker almost killed his planetary that game. It was burning and in red health before he finally killed the 1 lurker and started to repair it. | ||

I do think there is some issue with the Game being so spellcasters focussed at a certain Point and Well terrans spellcasters did get nerfed quite a Bit, on the contrary terrans midgame Looks Stronger rn and offen allows Them to Power through. | ||
