If I was to be critical there seemed a window to switch into dual robo stalker/disruptor given how Clem went so hard into vikings, but given the state of the game and the tools he was using that was excellently played by Stats, and Clem obviously | ||

Does anybody else hate the terran lategame endless scans + EMP/Snipe- combos ? Really frustrating to play against for sure. | ||

Nah i don't think any of the SC2 world champs are overrated. But Oliveira literally NEVER gets the aligulac credit he deserves for how consistently strong he is. | ||

Nah his easiest match up is still coming up against Ragnarok. Ragnarok is the weakest player in this group. | ||

Nah he lost to Ragnarok 0-2 in last year's IEM Katowice groups and Rag also just beat Cure 2-0, which was a headscratcher since Cure seemed to not know Ragnarok's modus operandi. But I think with proper prep/build Olli should win. Edit: also very funny that Clem, Cure, Oliveira, and Ragnarok were all in the same group at last year's Katowice, and Clem/Cure were eliminated while Olli and Rag advanced. Olli beat both Clem and Cure 2-0 at the time, which was pretty crazy (game 1 vs Clem he was down 50 supplies at one point). | ||

RagnaroK has a good ZvT, but it also depends on the playstyle of the terran. True, but I think he has a very good shot at winning at least one more series and advancing. I think Cure/Clem/Oliveira are in the same ballpark in TvT (below Maru, not equally good, but can often take series off of each other.) Ragnarok is also doable. I'd bet on Oliveira to advance at this point. | ||

Really loved him using the tactical potential Protoss has with Nexus Recall + MS Recall Really loved the army control in general, he held on so long and it had lots of intense back and forth Will remember that game as an example to show when people say/think that SC2 battles are still WoL style death ball a-move 10 sec fights Also nice Astrea g1 vs Byun, PvT is so fun to watch these days | ||
