The LBH gives you a fair few chances at getting momentum or good fights - it's why Solar got that ghost cleanup (which made the game playable for a while). I'm a big fan of adding more infestors than what Solar did there, but against high ghost count and a Terran who can still drop, I don't hate trying to force it with LBH. | ||

I don't hate it either but your argument that you shouldn't go Broods against 15 Ghosts is wrong. Dark does that pretty regularly and it works with good Infestor control and LOTS of broodlords | ||

At least try the BLord play and see how it goes, unless you can set up the perfect engagement like Dark or Serral does. Solar just straight up refuse to do it, like Reynor does and just die. His Lurker also bring zero value to the Zerg army, yet hes still trying to stick to it in lategame against full tanks Ghost as well. And can somebody tell me why cant we have an Overlord to guard the dead space next to the main? Gumiho was using that as his personal space all game long. | ||

Glorious Stylistically, given his race I used to love Liquid HerO as my favourite player, attempting a very macro, straight up harass oriented style but in terms of having an idiosyncratic style and thrilling games when in form Gumigod is up there for sure. Probably the most stylistic off-beat player who’s actually good SC2 has seen Maru and Serral play the best SC sure, but it’s not as fun! It’s like in the movies where the seemingly impervious supervillain has one weakness that the hero somehow discovers and exploits | ||

It’s so immobile but I don’t think it’s insurmountable The problem is Zergs don’t contract come super lategame, they have to defend too much ground You got a bunch of bases mined out, tech a forward base up to hive and rebuild a few tech structures. I’ve never seen a Zerg in a top top game do this, they’ll reactively rebuild but never do it proactively If you’re down to 3/2/1 or hell no mining bases, fortify that region, pull new tech buildings and slow push from there. Instead you’re generally seeing people scramble to defend infrastructure that was gradually built over the expansion to 6/7 bases and BL comps can cover it all | ||

I do also think Dark probably has the best lategame Zerg control, and the heavy infestor play's effectiveness scales with good control. | ||
