E: turns out the deathball was enough. That and Neeb control his unit pretty sad, all the Mines hit and not micro the Colossi back.

Nah I guess he has a chance if Cure beats TIME, but if TIME wins that's pretty much it I think and TIME is up 1-0.

How influential is the new patch? as the only neutral person here I can say it doesn't feel like a big deal so far ![]() However, so far, it feels like the larger maps are pushing us toward long/turtle games.

Cure vs Dark game 2 is the game that I've seen from this tournament that was most affected by the balance patch as well as the new maps. Most of the other games haven't been affected anywhere near as much as that one. But you still see the other changes in smaller ways like faster HTs, faster Broods, and changed Ravens. Also I think the buffed Hydralisk has pretty much made Mutalisks unusable in ZvZ, but I need to see more games of that to make that conclusion final.

If he loses to Cure and beats TIME then I think TIME will be out. Neeb can also ruin TIME's run and save Cure if he beats TIME head to head, but Neeb is out now I don't see anyway he survives. Noone is out yet, and cure also wouldn't be 100% out if he loses (though he has to win at least a map). There are theoretical ways yet for a lot of drama. Though the next round will close a lot of these potentials.
