Though it was funny to see him falling for the classic diamond terran move, micro the reaper to kill a probe, while ignoring the way more important things.

It's a fact. Protoss has overrun EU GM. The makeup was 68% Protoss in the top 50 EU GM when I checked a few weeks ago. ESL EU cup is overrun with Protoss entries, week in, and week out. There are less up and coming Zerg and Terran pros in EU GM, if the ESL EU Cup entries are an indication of which race is being played the most at the top EU GM level. In addition, Protoss did very well today. 6 wins, zero losses. That's as good as it gets.

Ah xes lets take one day to talk about the general performance of a faction great idea Quick anecdote Protoss went 9:1 in non mirror mus in 2019 st2 right before blizzcon, dont think anyone was talking about protoss doing well that hald of the year.

The people that say Protoss "didn't do shit before" are the actual trolls, IMO. In the last 1.5 years, Trap has won TSL 7, Next S1, 2021 GSL Super Tournament 1, DH Last Chance 2021, 2021 GSL Super Tournament 2, 2020 GSL Super Tournament 2, and Next 2020 Winter: https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Trap. That’s 7 high profile tournaments that Trap has won. Trap did pretty good in the last 1.5 years, if you ask me.

Feel free to take the last 4 years. Edit> If we're talking about the high profile tournaments, let's talk about the highest

Dreamhack replaced WCS last year. Trap won Dreamhack Last Chance 2021, the equivalent of a WCS. All the other tournaments I listed, Next S1, 2021 GSL Super Tournament 1, 2021 GSL Super Tournament 2, 2020 GSL Super Tournament 2, and Next 2020 Winter were all prestigious tournaments with the best players in them (except for the Korean tournaments where Serral and Reynor didn't participate in because they didn't fly to Korea).

Usually Cure playing very safe and solid build, but somehow he was full of hole today. Also, Zoun was picking the right approach with "in-your-face" type of pressure early game and force Cure to make mistake he usually doesnt make.

World Championship, Blizzcon and or Kato. Your choice. If I wanted to write WCS, I would have written WCS. How did you get from Code S to the Super Tournament is beyond my reading skills. Probably some mind games. Hey, deacon wrote Code S but in reality he meant GSL and GSL has Super Trounaments, right? RIGHT?

Are you trolling? | ||

But even in GSL 3 where Cure won it all, Maru lost to Trap.

Yeah I know it was dicey af, but Cure gave me hope that he found the key to winning (although Zest should have destroyed him but threw several games :|) Maybe Maru being in incredible form is enough, there is no former teammate like Rogue or Trap to choke against
