Pretty sure Inno trounces Cure regularly online.

yeah probably, Cure in the finals would be really cool

Inno played great, but I kind of thought from the start of this group that Maru would rather want second place than first to avoid the teamkill. So he got what he wanted.

Also, Inno's TvT has always been crazy good.

I suppose there's always the teamkill factor, but Parting looked to be in much better form than Trap on Wednesday.

TY has a hideous record against Dark. He has literally never beaten Dark in GSL.

The amount of hope people has for TY never ceases to amaze me. He will die to Dark in a brutal fashion.

I'd love to see TY win GSL but the only way he gets past Dark is if Dark's wrists are still in their fucked up Ro16 condition.

PartinG is looking good lately but Trap is still a PvT monster, I'm sure Maru is very happy with second place for that reason alone.

Maru and Trap practicing together will be very convenient for both of their matches

PartinG looked way better against Bunny than Trap did though. Maybe we just file that under "Trap had a weak day" and move on though.

Parting's ceiling is higher than Trap's. If he's back for real then Maru is in for some HotS flashbacks. Prep wise Trap is also way easier to prepare for, since Parting is well, Parting.

Alternatively it'll be catharsis for Maru. I think TY's the only Terran who's clearly the underdog in his Ro8 match. I'd give him a better chance against every other player in the Ro8 than against Dark . That is, if Dark is in better condition than for the Ro16.
