I wasnt advocating for any change yet, just saying, based on what i've seen so far, im clueless how to approach ultra-late / split map scenarios as Zerg.
BL+infestor went from neigh unbeatable to a non-option. Ultras are worse than trash vs mech, so i guess it's just pure hydra-viper or hydra-lurker-viper all day long?

tbh watching these lategame ZvTs i keep waiting for the BL/Infestor to roll out. like, it doesn't feel like we're really in lategame without them. not that i dislike this new state, i just need some time to adjust.
