Reynor got beaten soundly in his group and he is the current WCS Summer champion so maybe its not quite done yet. Reynor is great against Serral, however I feel he's an different calibre against other players. He's great, but not quite as good.

Reynor lost his games 1-2, 1-2 while throwing an advantage at least twice, I wouldn't say he got beaten soundly; he is quite inconsistent outside of WCS Circuit. Serral is a very different beast against koreans.

I've never seen Serral throw a game like that. Extremely uncharacteristic of him, to say the least. One thing I've noticed about Serral is that he sometimes doesn't quite properly capitalize on gains that he's made in the game. If he had just gotten more static defense and lurkers, he would've held against Reynor's desperation push easily. It wasn't even a difficult decision to make imo, but I guess even the strongest player has his moments. "Serral would have won if he played differently"

Serral is just way more rounded across all 3 matchups and that bit more consistent too, which you have to be at this level. I think making the next step to being able to best anyone on his day to doing so vs multiple top Koreans in succession is a tough one, but I think Reynor’s up to the task for sure. I believe Reynor wants to go back to Korea so that’ll probably help him on that quest.
