From what I saw on Basetrade cup, Taeja stayed toe to toe with Keen but got demolished by Inno. I'd say he can make it to playoff, but not farther. Will get crushed by a protoss, as it always happens nowadays :D.. *sad*

They got a lot of minor buffs, and it does look the Carrier nerf is not really that big (it has more health now). And the Tempest actually looks better now, cost and supply taken into consideration

Liquipedia is wrong. Rogue lost 8 Maps, not sure why it Shows 7. He lost 3 Matches (6 Maps) and won 2x 2-1, = 8 Maps lost. Rogue can only Advance with Harstem Victory 2-0 over Cure and Cure would be out.

I agree Reynor is likely to become a real threat to top Koreans like Serral has but at least for next year, I'd say it's going to stay about the same. After that, well, unfortunately the Korean scene will probably get weaker because of no new blood and the old guard will have to do their military service at some point so..

A Patchzerg is someone worth nothing suddenly finding success due to some patch favoring the race, not a top player supposedly taking advantage of favorable meta/maps/patch(why Serral and not Dark or Rogue, if that is the case?).
Both Reynor and Stats went 3-4 against Serral but g7 in Montreal was arguably closer.
If you don't want to understand, the fault is yours entirely and the overhype is the appropriate retaliation xd

I already have little hype left for foreigners beating koreans because most koreans are well past their peak and every foreigner beating a korean accelerates the death of the korean scene (early knocked out players more likely to retire etc)
"Cheering" for new foreign hopes that make it even harder for the remaining koreans to earn money and force them to military sooner is weird imo.

Rogue and Dark were the best zerg after Serral last year but they did not benefit from the patch.
On the other hand, Team Liquid was calling Rogue "patchzerg" at the start of 2018 after he rose to prominence from nowhere in 2017; it was just a prediction that was proven wrong since Rogue proceeded to play well and win during 2018 as well.
I knew you were not serious, but a serious answer was needed nevertheless.
Koreans still are the best, even if the best player at the moment arguably is not one of them; the real problem is not even top koreans going to the army as Rogue is not going and Dark, Solar, Maru were born in 1995-96-97, Taeja and Parting are back.
The problem is that there won't be replacements for the ones going, especially Protoss.

I already have little hype left for foreigners beating koreans because most koreans are well past their peak and every foreigner beating a korean accelerates the death of the korean scene (early knocked out players more likely to retire etc) "Cheering" for new foreign hopes that make it even harder for the remaining koreans to earn money and force them to military sooner is weird imo. I mean you can of course cheer for him because you like him or because he's a great talent but nowadays I think it's weird for someone to specificially want foreigners to beat koreans.
Byul retiring after losing against a foreigner in a Code S qualifier was rather alerting.

I'm 2 hours 20mins into day1... starting to consider watching on mute as incontrol is insufferable.
I like HSC laid back approach, but incontrol takes that as a license to not care at all about the commentary.
I tune in to watch the games, if he has no interest in commentating the games then he should go sit with everyone else at the back.
