I think it would be good to limit tank pickups somehow. It's a nice idea, but like so many of their ideas for SC2, it undermines positional games and makes games come down to instant decision making.

Can't learn without VODs that have the info. Also if having the information means that you don't need to watch the game, then the gameplay probably wasn't good enough to warrant your attention to begin with. Just admit that you want to ruin everyone's shitposting quota by making them pay more attention to the game. Not necessarily talking about replays, you can show all the relevant information after the games are done in an analysis section or something. People get really defensive about this though, don't worry i don't care that much about it, but i can definitely see where the idea of showing less information is coming from. It's actually logical and makes sense.
You realize they're probably not doing it on purpose, they just misplaced their logo to accidently cover up one of the player's worker numbers.

Feels strange to say farewell to a legend such as TaeJa. On the other hand, he was gonna retire no matter what, and Ryung advancing to the ro8 is awesome too.

Did he really just say that? I mean, I know casters are supossed to hype the game and all, but come on! can't really criticize the game as a caster.
Obviously, I don't expect to hear the casters saying how awful tankivacs are. It's their job to be positive and hype the game. But saying something like that? Even hypocrisy has it's limits, you know.

And now for the customary Ryung balance whine

Taeja o/ mad props to the guy, retired player taking out Zest thanks to his decision making. Amazing to watch his games.

Pylons are another nice example of that

Thanks for the memories, Taeja.
As for TvT, that match up is so unfun to watch. Sure it is intense to watch the positional struggle, but there is almost no decisive tactics that can overtake a game other than dropping tanks first. You miss the drop by .25 sec? You're gunna be down 40 supply. It's really kinda irritating because a player might be gaining momentum in q game (like this one where Taeja was starting to mass expand and was up an armor upgrade) but still got shit on by 8 tankivacs. Makes me wish that there were alternatives/intuitive counters to tankivacs other than MOAR TANKS AND THE BETTER DRAW ON THE DROP.

Sure you cannot really go back now, i agree with this. I am more talking about the general concept here.

So Taeja said to Zest "I'm going down but I'm taking you down with me too!".
Seriously, he didn't advance but he put a show so it was a good way to retire. He should be happy!

Yeah it would be fairly reasonable, either a shade cooldown or something like giving HP to the shades and we kill it it cancel the spell. As for tank, I just hope that by nerfing tankivacs they aren't going to buff tanks attack, I'd really prefer not going back to all the mech tank boring stuffs (to me).
