artosis? tasteless?

I'm personally not much of a fan of their SC2 casting anymore, I think they do a lot better with Brood War.

Do you actually watch ASL? :D I agree with you though, in general i think sc2 casting is at its best when Tasteless and Artosis don't cast together.

The Apollo approach

Meh i actually agree with him on that

I think it's really fake and if you can't make a decent story with the information on screen you're not doing a great job casting

The problem is that everybody is accustomed to having all this information atm. But imo gameplay alone should be enough to watch the game. Show both povs, maybe supply and everything else is told by actual gameplay on screen.

the game is exciting enough as it is. I don't see why you need to hide information to artificially create hype

The point is that the game should be enjoyable and tell ts narrative with the least information reasonably possible.
I can totally understand that you want mass information for learning purposes, but that can be done after the game played out as well.
The truth is that the more information you have, the less you actually need to watch the game which is bad.

There are no replays released for any Korean event. Can't learn without VODs that have the info.

Also if having the information means that you don't need to watch the game, then the gameplay probably wasn't good enough to warrant your attention to begin with.

Just admit that you want to ruin everyone's shitposting quota by making them pay more attention to the game.

Not necessarily talking about replays, you can show all the relevant information after the games are done in an analysis section or something. People get really defensive about this though, don't worry i don't care that much about it, but i can definitely see where the idea of showing less information is coming from. It's actually logical and makes sense.

You realize they're probably not doing it on purpose, they just misplaced their logo to accidently cover up one of the player's worker numbers.

You realize i never said otherwise? Obviously we are talking about the concept of showing less information in general and no this didn't come up because of this error, cmon guys wtf -.-

Another fun thing we could do would be to secret make a deal to reply to anything Viper says with the most illogical response imaginable and then wait for him to finally have enough.

Again, this is definitely not something we are doing right now, no way.

so you want to say ... you enjoy these games where the players are poking around for 10 minutes waiting for the opportunity to boost their tanks in the right spot and then the game gets decided in 2 seconds...?

I hope that's in the plans for this week balance test map, with adept shade cooldown and ultra armor

Yeah it would be fairly reasonable, either a shade cooldown or something like giving HP to the shades and we kill it it cancel the spell. As for tank, I just hope that by nerfing tankivacs they aren't going to buff tanks attack, I'd really prefer not going back to all the mech tank boring stuffs (to me).

So you want them to lower the defensive and offensive potential of tanks with nothing done to make tanks better in return.

Why would you then ever make tanks outside of TvT?

being able to pick them up in siege mode but dropping them in normal mode would be fair I think. Give a slight buff if needed afterwards.

I'm pretty sure you only think mech is boring because of HotS style skyterran turtle and not because of tanks.
