Of course he is. He is as angry as he should be. He did a shameful display. What are people going to think of the foreign scene after that ? This is our best representative ? He can still redeem himself at DH Winter, I just don't get why anybody expected something different. It was phisically impossible to get efficient practice for this during the last 4 weeks. Of course he should've still done better than he did, because you don't lose 3 games like this in a row. Even if you played only LotV. Honestly, getting crushed like this happens. But the attitude, especially THIS is what bothers me. But again, there was no way for him to practice! If he went to Korea for practice, every single replay would've been sent to Life. So he stayed in EU, but there the server has been dead since WCS Season 3. It was a dilemma, so he chose to focus on DH winter, I don't blame him. He could've still done better today though, even while playing HotS, losing 3 games like this in a row is not necessary.
Yes, it might have been hard for Lilbow to prepare properly - but the way he lost was still embarassing. No one can expect a flawless performance with the given difficulties to train. The shameful thing was that Lilbow literally seemed to have no clue about the basic timings in HotS ZvP. And these kind of things should really not happen. And Lilbow has a team, there must have been a Zerg or two as practice partner. The foreign scene should really be able to manage such minor things.
I understand that he wants to do well in LotV - but always preparing for what might be happening in the future is really not the way to do it. I doubt Lilbow is ever going to get the opportunity to go to Blizzcon again. To really think the Koreans won't dominate in LotV as they do now is just rather stupid. I wouldn't even be surprised if some Korean guy who barely practiced LotV until DH:W just crushes all the European/American players.

vs the entire KT house dedicated to Life
I don't agree with the fact that he didn't practice at all but the difference in the quality of practice made it a lost cause from the very beginning. In the end, Lilbow is qualified for DH, a big tournament that he has a legit chance to win, a thing that wouldn't have happened if he had practiced more HotS (and still lost to Life by the way).
I'm disappointed by the result and by the way he lost but I understand the reasons behind it. all I can tell you is I didn't like his attitude tonight, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. Being a champion is not just about the way you play. What would Mvp do? "I didn't practice because my body is broken"

Life did prepare well fot his match. He knew that Lilbow would prepare for a mid-game allin and so he prepared for early game all-ins. You really can't critizice Lilbow when players such as Parting have lost to his 9pool.
Lilbow, on the other hand, didn't prepare, not because he said so, but because that seemed evident when you analyse his games. gateway nexus come on, against a zerg known for his early game antics. FFE would be a far better option, but whatever, the Frenchman didn't prepare properly.
There is a major difference between Life and the rest of players. He is widely known for his preparation. Lilbow got the worst possible opponent, but anyways, reaching Blizzcon alone is a huge merit for the French toss.

The hate was there, if he hadn't said this it would have grasped on something else. This conversation isn't being had in any kind of legitimate way.

I guess then this match was good LotV training for Lilbow Eh, i don't think 14/14 is stronger in LotV. It's alright because people are way more greedy, but as a whole it's worse. Overlord drop builds are way better. OL drop is at lair now ;p What? no it's not lol, i've literally played 400 games of LotV in the last couple of weeks. there's no way it's lair. evo then? I played a bit of LotV recently and it was greyed out on ovies
Yeah it's evolution chamber. Definitely not lair, trust mee

The DH lotv event will feature + Show Spoiler +Qualifiers 2 spots in the Americas Qualifier 1 spot in the Oceania Qualifier 6 spots in the Western & Central Europe Qualifiers 4 spots in the Northern Europe Qualifiers 4 spots in the Eastern Europe Qualifiers 2 spots in the Southern Europe Qualifier Invites 1 Western Wildcard 4 Korean Wildcards
I still doubt that his endeavors to prepare for that event will be enough. There are 4 koreans there.

Just a side note to those that say, "Lilbow should have forfeited his spot to give a chance to Hyun to play!", don't forget it would have also meant giving up a free $5k. You can't really blame him for not doing that, can you?

Really can't complain about him getting shit for that attitude.

Woot, got food and ate and i'm back just in time!
Last time I remember they played each other in a bo5, it was (and probably still is) one of my favorite TvP series of all time. Please, have a repeat of that.

Come on Polt ! We want a series
|
does ]Polt still snipe Nexus?
|
He should have scrimmed with KT players if they offered it, do you really think Life would have bothered watching the replays?
Hey, here's two more players who don't have KeSPA teams to practice with. Let's see if they can play above an EU diamond level!

Regardless his odds at making additional money can hardly be worse.
